Well, I dunno, but it is clear to me that Illbay had a good point about the article lacking sufficient detail to confirm it's claims. I would really like to see some accurate and detailed information, if anybody has something. (I haven't taken the time to read through this whole thread.) I have a Muslim friend who is Paki and who writes letters for amnesty international. If Christians are indeed being attacked in Pakistan, and there is some specific documentation, I can get him writing some letters to the government there urging them to provide more police protection for the Christian ghettos and to denounce the violence.

In the meantime, Washington cannot engage the Afghans in any meaningful dialogue by serving ultimatums and dropping bombs.

Perhaps if we make nice-nice with them and try to understand their needs, they will go away and leave us alone.

I would think they would need guns, not police protection, no?
