There are hundreds, if not thousands, of former Muslims in the United States who live under the threat of death because of their own personal decision to no longer follow the Islamic religion. This is further evidence of the enemy within. The US MUST be purged of any and all dangerous foreigners--primarily Islamists, who would do us harm.
This is NOT racial or religious intolerance--This IS for primal survival.

Islam is no longer a religion, it has progressed, it is now a disease.

"It is curious that no predominanly Islam countries are truly democratic."
"Yes, one. Turkey. A member of NATO."
This is largely due to the influence of Kemal AttaTurk (sp?) in the 1920s. He drastically reduced the power and authority of Islam over the political life of the nation and freed women from the veil and from total subjugation to their husbands. He was one strong guy, but it's still a marvel how he managed to modernize Turkey in such a short time span.

"[R]efusing to recognise the nature of your enemy is insanity in war. Pretending they are mild and reasonable is like pretending the Nazis were mild and reasonable, or that Stalin was "good old Uncle Joe", that pipe smoking fatherly figure portrayed in the West during the Second World War. Our national policy MUST be rooted in reason and fact, and wishing the enemy to be other then he is is suicidal."
Excellent and reasonable point. Very persuasively put.
FDR, himself, fell for the "Uncle Joe" fraud, and the world suffered for years because of his mistake.

If we believe our media and our leaders in what they say about Islam we're going to lose this "war".I doubt if the Taliban would agree with you.

All the examples you gave are not from the Quran but are all man made. Most of them don't make any sense and are not islamic.

All the examples you gave are not from the Quran but are all man made. Most of them don't make any sense and are not islamic. That may or may not be true. However, the last 1000 years of islam for any country that islam takes over tells a different story...
