Was it Prentice who had the tickets to the NFL Monday night game and decided to go despite the possibility of a terrorist strike at the stadium? I hope he has a womderful time. He is doing the right thing. We cannot be terrorized away from doing what we want to do - and I know he wants to go to the game.
I think the Emmy's should have gone on as scheduled - the Hollywood crowd is a bunch of self-important, scaredy cat ninnies. I know the Emmy's are for TV, but I consider the TV gang to be as puffed up as the movie gang. Can you just see them cancelling the Oscars, but then complaining if American audiences were afraid to go out to the theaters to see their movies?

Hi Val
yes, Prentice was scared to go at first
then he decided to stand up to his fear

I agree with you
I agree with you about Hollywood and the Emmys too
what you say is true

Val .. from what I've heard .. and not from TV .. these threats are for real .. I'm not saying we should live in fear .. but I will say .. Be VERY watchful ..

Crew Walks Off Orlando-To-Dulles Flight
Man Questioned Because Of Similar Name Debra A. Scott, NewsChannel2000 Staff Writer
Updated: 12:17 a.m. EDT October 5, 2001
ORLANDO, Fla. -- A flight from Orlando International Airport to Dulles Intenational Airport in Washington Thursday was canceled after the crew refused to fly with a man who had been questioned by federal sky marshals.
A passenger on the plane spoke with CNN about the incident and United Airlines confirmed the information. According to the reports, federal sky marshals stormed United Airlines Flight 918 shortly before it was supposed to take off at 2:30 p.m. EDT.
The sky marshals pulled a male passenger off the plane because his name on the flight manifest might have matched a name on the FBI list of suspected terrorist accomplices and/or leads.
After interviewing the subject at OIA, the marshals determined that he was not the suspect, and allowed him back on the plane to continue to Washington.
However, two flight crewmembers on board refused to fly with him, even after he was cleared.
Because the flight crews walked, the flight was canceled and passengers are being rebooked on other flights, including Flight 978, which left Orlando at 6:45 p.m. and was due into Dulles at 8:52 p.m.

The threats are real, I don't doubt that. That just means American citizens need to be extra vigilant and do what they can to protect their homes and cities - not hide and let the terrorists have the run of the place. Live a normal life, but do interrupt it all if someone or suspicious is spotted..... like the Florida flight crew. They were going to take the risk of flying in these times, but they were paying close attention to their own instincts and refused to go against their better judgement when something didn't feel right to them.
I'm having a real weird sensation of deja vu right now......
