My prayers are with our armed forces at this time. I pray that God will keep our troops safe from harm, and that He will give our president and leaders the wisdom needed to prosecute this war successfully.
My pastor preached a wonderful sermon last Sunday, where he pointed out that governments are established by God. It is government's responsibility to keep people safe from harm. At times, wars are necessary for governments to carry out their God-given responsibilities.
