The question was creationism. Get the facts straight, or dont bother to respond to my statements. Doing so, only cheapens any argument you may wish to make, and frankly, its rude. The sad attempt at a straw man dismissal wont work.

And Where exactly in my post did I say that you HAD? You need to get YOUR facts straight, or don't bother responding.

Here is the part of my post you refered to:

I do not see how one can accept See? This implies that you DO accept Christ, thus my confusion the substitutionary death of Christ and reject the concept of the fall as described in Genesis. (Of course if you "you" in the generic sense. Perhaps, for those of you who are easily confused, it should say "If ONE rejects Christ..." reject Christ, them you have no problem)

I can debate, and have, the intellectual fallicies of Evolution...but I have found that is adherents have such strong faith that no amount of debate will sway them, so I won't bother. But I fail to see how one can place there faith in Christ and reject the reasoning behind the necessity of his death.

Again, in the last sentence, I imply that I accept that you (both you personnaly, and the generic "you"- whomever it might be- who says "I believe in Christ but I reject Adam")proffess Christ...if I did not accept that, there would be no source for my confusion.

First of all the idea that "virtually every biologist, physicist, chemist, and scientist of every stripe believe that the theory is correct" is so absurd that it hardly deserves a response. The scientific community is not only divided on the theory of evolution, but more and more scientists have been rejecting the validity of evolution as fact.

I don't know what scientists you are referring to who reject the theory of evolution. Every scientist of any stature that I have ever listened to takes evolution as a given. That a handful of scientists or wannbe scientists question various aspect of evolution is much like most things in science and politics. When you say more and more scientists reject evolution, it is you again who is being absurd. Only in your own deluded mind is this true. Facts are hard to ignore. Take a trip to your local museum and if you can't use your brain please try to use your eyes.

Evolution: Science; Creation: Faith- and there's the rub.

Evolution still remains a theory -- not fact. So is Creationism. Darwinists cannot prove how DNA was spontaneously organized. Neither can Creationists prove the existence of God -- or that God actually created man. But I'm willing to take both on faith: I believe that God created the universe and set in motion the forces which evolved simple matter into DNA, simple-celled organisms, and (eventually) man.

Did you ever see the James Garner movie where he is abducted during the second world war by the Germans to find out the details of the D-day invasion? He "wakes" up in a fake American hospital run by American speaking Germans and supposedly he is told he was in a coma and the war has been over for months and there is no need for secrecy...but just two days before he was abducted on his finger he had a paper cut that remained and the whole plot fell apart and he escaped without divulging the invasion plans.

That's what you need--a paper cut big time to remind you of your immortality--stupidity-BLINDNESS--deception that you are buried under!

Dude, you are missing the point, probably intentionally. The underlying premise of evolution is that we can prove how we were made. There are idiots out there, including the guy I responded to, that are calling evolution FACT. My point is that it can't be a fact (or even true) if you can't explain the most basic thing about it: how it started. Further, it isn't that it is imperfect (another straw man argument); its incomprehensible, though it's underlying premise assumes that everything is ultimately comprehensible. In other words, if evolution is true, that would prove that human kind has the ability to know everything (whether we know it NOW or not). Yet, no one has even bothered to try and explain eternity or viable alternatives in an evolution context.

I can't answer it because I don't agree with it, and I doubt most who support evolution do.

Your gravity and other scientific examples are irrelevent. We see a rock hit your foot when you drop it. Therefore, we know gravity is true. There is no serious dispute there. With evolution, there is serious dispute.

You contradict yourself there. If something cannot be true unless we can explain how it started, then gravity can't be true, because no one knows how it started. We do, however, know that it's true, because we see it happening. Same with evolution; we don't know how the first life form started, but we do see (both in the wild and in the fossil record) that organisms change over time.

It takes a pretty big leap to believe that there is this all powerful being who just happened one day to think it was a good idea to "create" earth and man; and then sits back and watches us suffer and struggle. People have faith in whatever makes then feel good. Science is a different story.

Thanks for pointing out the "leap of faith" aspect to the origins discussion. Evolution "scientists" are blinded by their own arrogance. They can't see that believing something comes from nothing and order arises from chaos is ABSOLUTE FAITH.

If I were a believer, then I'd rejoice at death (if the person dying was a believer too), wouldn't I? After all, they've just met God. (Not to mention 72 virgins, or else an alien ship hiding behind Hale-Bopp, etc., depending on the religion.)
