There is little doubt Hitler was a pervert - recent research also indicates that Hitler had masochistic tendencies. Some have suggested that Eva Braun was the sadist in the relationship as well.

However I tend to think he had very little in terms of sexual impulse - everything I've read about the man, in particular Professor Ian Kershaw's excellent biographies - indicate that he had plenty of hatred, but apart from that was a dry and boring individual.

I have always had a theory that Nazis, neo-Nazis and antisemites were disturbed, seriously disturbed, and of dubious sexuality. Makes them lash out in irrational ways.

I also find it odd to see the parallels between the German practices in homosexuality as an exercise in power and domination and those that have been reported regarding the radical Islamifascists and their practices. In both cases, sexual behavior is seen almost exclusivily as an imposition of power over their partner/victim and is shown in the overall disdain for their submissive counterparts.
