No, I just have remembered it for lo, these many years. She later became a reporter for the Oakland Tribune, then and agitator in the campus riots of the late 60s/early 70s, and the last I heard she was a "House Mother" for another sorority on campus. Quite a career, don't you think?

"There are better ways to get the antiwar message across," Mr. Daly said, "than to let the enemy see us as divided and hateful of the president."I've been hearing this a lot lately. You think if there were zilch protesters, and no dissent -- all administration bills passed X - 0, the terrorists would in any way change their tactics? or give up? or be more encouraged? Rational analysis of this "we stand united" claim really doesn't pan out.
