Bus Crash: "The man...had a Middle Eastern accent"

I live in Nashville. I have been watching LIVE coverage of the incident. The driver of the bus told the doctor who was preparing him for surgery that

the man who cut his throat was of "middle eastern origin."

I heard the doctor say this with my own ears during a LIVE telephone interview with newschannel 4 anchor babe. The man, according to witnesses kept looking at his watch and coming forward frequently to ask the driver various questions about destinations and reststops etc. He was descibed as "normal" and friendly, right up until he cut the driver's throat and grabbed the wheel and steered the bus across the median.

The only problem with your continued bleating of this bit of trivia is that the 1975 attack was carried out by Croatian separatists. Croatia is now an Independent country. The USA has no Troops in Croatia. The USA allowed the Croatians to ethnically cleanse Serbs and Muslims. They don't have a particularly big gripe with us. On the other hand the Muslim fanatics in the Balkans (including Bin Laden associates) do have a beef with us and would have little problem getting Croatian documents. Or did you miss the previous threads on this very issue this morning?

In addition to sealing the borders, the 7+ million "honest" ARAB-Americans in this country need to dig into their families, friends, etc. and ferret out the bad guys who are still in our country. Hand them over and PROVE you love this country and truly want to be considered AMERICAN-arabs.

My guess is that a lot of terrorism in this country in the future will look like this. These people have been trained and work in cells, maybe in the future alone, to avoid detection of a master plot. When it begins happening anywhere at anytime, the entire country will be on edge and never feel safe. That is probably the plan. If we are successful in preventing the "large" events like what happened Sept. 11, I think we can expect to see these "smaller" undetectable incidents increasing.

Well then as more incidents like these happen, and in greater frequency, free-thinking Americans will start packing concealed heat wherever they go. The "law" is getting us killed. The law is the soft underbelly which allows terrorists and other criminals to kill, and they know it! Which is better, jail for carrying without a license, or being murdered?

There are many! The perp definitely had a Middle Eastern accent, according to witnesses. He had a Croatian passport, but they are running the info through Interpol, and various other databases. The perp is dead. The bus driver is alive. My distinct impression is that our governor and the TBI aren't as quick to dismiss this as "non related," contrary to what was reported by The Tennessean. (It's a Rat bent rag -- owned by Gannett. They publish a lot of my work, but have yet to publish anything political. Not even in the Letters to the Editor! Cripes -- I detest liberal publications!)

Will take notes next round. (I'm serious!) Stay tuned for the real story!

The reason they are lying about this (and probably earlier attacks too) is that the sheep can only be killed for so long then they start noticing. WTC was hard to cover up. They had a hard time keeping a lid on the sheep following that. They have managed to do so, but it wasn't easy, what with half the population demanding nukes and declarations of war and numerous lambs running around beating up muslim sheep. If the terrorism keeps up (as it surely will)and the sheep keep seeing the shepherd sitting on his duff making nice talk with the wolf, they are going to get p.o.'d and try and get a shepherd who'll actually protect them. Better to tell them that the particular sheep that died today died of natural causes and that the wolf was actually just some sheepdog who somehow got in among the flock.

The authorities, despite what some may think, are neither omnipotent nor prescient. These kinds of incidents can only be minimized or prevented by citizens, preferably armed citizens.

You beat me to that. Unfortunately it looks like self-defence is going to be hard from here on in. These terrorists we are at war with expect to die, so for them the smart move now is to give no warning after seeing the pasengers who faught back on Flight 93. They now know there are good Americans who will not hesitate to try to stop additional carnage.
