MTV -- my parents still haven't gotten cable, I had to watch videos at my friends' houses and they would all complain because they had seen the video 10 times already!

I have unpleasant memories of "older" boomers (about five to seven years older than me) who were protesting or otherwise acting indecently in the streets of San Francisco.
Speed Racer was on TV at 4 o'clock every day, and afterwards the Monkees and the Partridge Family. I liked the mom the best. The Brady Bunch wasn't on until 8.
Favorite shampoo: Dark Green Clairol's Herbal Essence, and Yucca Dew.
Oh, and Michael Jackson still had his nose!
