Tip: Stop trying to strangle the airline industry, which is in wartime, part of our material [and people] air transport command!

Mobilize production for war material.

DO NOT ASSUME that the terrorist assaults are ALL OF THE general attack strategy.

We need a whole lot more fire trucks and ambulances and military equipment and aviation support.

But instead, the Bush Administration has been consuming its energy by shutting down what should otherwise be a gigantic logistics buildup.

Ask the Japanese, the Germans ... who will tell the U.S.A. that the ARSENAL OF DEMOCRACY is much of what they could not beat in World War II.

Grab the friggin' carpet and shake up EVERYBODY.

The confiscation of nail files and knives IS NOT going to prevent in any way, another hijacking. While the threat of area defense, can and will.

If the Bush Administration were AWAKE(!), there would ALREADY BE watch towers at the four corners of every major and most minor airports across the country.

WHO THE HECK IS WATCHING THE PERIMETER?

Nope. All eyes are on a Ms. Jones and her nail file.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR THE TERRORISTS --- WHO BY NATURE FIGURE OUT WHAT PEOPLE FEAR --- TO FIGURE THIS ONE? --->>> Slip nail files into passersby's pockets, purses, baggage, camera pouches. Scatter them about the lounge areas; leave them on the pay phones. (THE VIET CONG WERE EXPERTS AT USING AMERICANS' FEARS!)

"Just like that," you've shut down the airport because the Bush Administrators are idiotically focused upon the nail files!

Boo!

It's not the nail file, stupid.

But for "policy makers" it must be, because they work to disarm Americans from their right to defend themselves.

Our "leaders'" obsessions with nail files is as smart as a military leader's obsession with everybody marching properly while the base perimeter is being sapped.

So what if four bad guys get aboard an aircraft with nail files(?) ... we'd still have 70 other good guys aboard with nail files.

I like the odds.

The Bush Administration might as well order finger nail and teeth removal!

Maybe they should distribute box cutters to everyone boarding a plane. With everyone "armed", who would try to take over the plane?

The criminally-insane; almost all appointed by -- and carried-over from -- the treasonous, lying, thieving, mass-murdering, co-serial-raping Gore/KKKli'toon "administration;" are firmly in charge of the asylum.

They (ground crew) aren't supposed to have any sharp objects either. A recent flight I was on was minus even the cork screw for the wine bottles. The flight attendents had to improvise with plastic knives.

While we're overreacting to the last incident, the enemy is plotting their next assault. I've flown commercially twice in the past few days and I, along with almost everyone else, have just breezed right through security. I had one of those 8" hand mirrors with the semi-circular wire hanger. I also had my cell phone and camera in my backpack. No one asked about fingernail clippers, razor blades, or anything else at the security entry control point. What a joke!!! The terrorists know now that we'll fight any hijack attempt. They're not getting another passenger plane and they know it. I just wish I knew what they're planning for the next time. That's what we should be trying to find out.

The question that needs to be asked by security: Did the employee need the boxcutter in the plane to fulfil his duties? If not, when was the last time in his job he would have had to use it. If they determine that it would have been off the plane, then I would charge him with making a threat, and fire him to boot.

This sort of nonsense is going to continue as long as the PC police continue to win the "no-racial-profiling-under-any-circumstances" war. The fact is, while not all Muslims are radical, murdering, fanatics, every single one of the evil-doers of 9/11 were!

Finding a misplaced boxcutter may or may not be worrisome, depending on the demographics of the passengers and crew. Now, having said that, we must also understand that we need to be aware of the almost certain eventuality of the recruitment of other American-haters in the Islamist war on us. Until then, even the most innocuous looking retired farmer couple from Iowa traveling to Hawaii to celebrate their 50th anniversary will have their luggage searched with the same vigor that an Arab nationalist twitching his eyes in a paranoid manner will.

This is crazy. Only when each and every American is affected in some manner will this end. Even then there are no guarantees; consider the mother of a woman killed in one of the hijacked airliners who is ranting to any reporter who will listen that we should not overreact. Sheesh.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - An American Airlines pilot made an unscheduled landing Sunday after crew members found a box cutter left on the plane by a catering employee.

It is my opinion that anyone who chooses to fly in the current climate fall into one of three categories... Fools, terrorists or employees and the lines of declination seem muted. Airline companies are unable to both provide quality service and customer safety. If I ever fly again it will be too soon.

I have a mental picture of Cheech and Chong working for the caterer and loading the meals. They take a big toke off a huge joint and say

"Hey man wanta see some people panic" and they place the boxcutter on one of the trays.

So we have this great crack down in airline security and a catering staff person carries a box cutter around the airport everywhere he or she goes and no one knows about it until he forgets it on a beverage cart? How did this person get on airport property with a knife? Until armed citizens are allowed conceal carry on airplanes we are going to have more and more problems.
