We need a satellite or something that can determine the depth of hollow spots in the ground. Then have a bomb that we can parachute down to the spot (radio/camera guided) and drill itself down to the hollow spot and detonate. After the cockroaches start scurring out, shoot em down like dogs. Kind of like that big Dr. Evil missile thing happ'n you know?
