An "Airborne Assault" means uniformed paratroopers dropping among uniformed enemy during wartime: Normandy for example.

A mass murder terrorist suicide sneak attack on civilians in peacetime is not the same thing, or do you think so?

I see something similar happening on many college campuses. Some Professor Politburo types are holding their tongues, in the face of American students who are ready to revolt. Personally, I hope some of these commissar-types keep on yapping, because I am sure that we won't have to settle for articles in the WSJ that make us feel like we hold the moral high ground. Some of these kids are going to raise holy hell, if they haven't already.

They were already sliding downhill before 911, having been buried by FOX. I can't think of a more deserving bunch of bleeps.

I used to try positing FR-type alternative news posts at mycnn.com, but the censors soon banished me. But they weren't even honest enough to call it what it was. (Shades of l.com!) Six or seven weeks after they blocked my posting access, I got an e-mail from them, saying that I had been suspended for "24 hours" for violating some rule. There was no explanation about what my transgression was, and when I wrote them back berating them for their dishonesty, I never heard from them again.

At this point, CNN is being suspended by its dwindling audience. Oh, the shame! Oh, the horror!

I was once banned from the MSNBC chat room for daring to use the word g-d in a sentence. They said that discussion of religion was not allowed.........of course, that was before LIEberman came on the scene!!!! I must say tho that as far as FNC is concerned aside from Brit Hume I don't find great intellectual content.

I wouldn't know about Fox; we're apparently the last family in America without cable. But what you're saying doesn't surprise me. After all, Murdoch owns Fox, so how much depth could it have? And since FReepers are so starved for an alternative to racial socialist agitprop, they're bound to overly praise Fox.
