God bless this man. He is one of few people with guts left to tell the truth.

So in this time of renewed patriotism and love for this nation, this guy is still obsessed with bringing back the "good old days" when white men owned black men.

He wants the Stars 'n' Bars at a time when the Stars 'n' Stripes seem to be the focus.

Has the man's family checked into having him committed? It might be the only humane thing to do.

If it was Kim Bessinger then it would have been an interesting story...

decimated by what he calls the enemies of freedom.

All these stores are "free" not to carry his product. Of course, that's not the freedom old Maurice wants.

Care to provide a quote? Has the man actually suggested that we repeal the 13th Amendment?

Actualy, Bessinger has replaced the Confederate flag at his restaurants with the American flag.

Story here: Old Glory flies again at Piggy Park restaurants

Glad to hear it. Actually, I'm sure that lots and lots of anti-United States folks, including many here on FR, have "gotten it" within the last couple of weeks.

I'd be interested in seeing what evidence he has that 95% of Blacks prefer segregation and that Blacks were better educated in segregated schools. Also, would he suggest that his business was better back when he was allowed to segregate his restaurants.

Strange - I saw no proposal to repeal the 13th Amendment.

Some football fan should point out to him that segregation would mean a return to those good ole days when the Black boys would have to high tail it north and play for the Yankees in the Big Ten. Southern football would be severely diminished. What would Florida and Florida State be reduced to: some pencilnecked geeks waving the cornfederate flag. Of course, Miami could still sign the blacks but would have to ignore the cross burnings and burning in effigies sure to ensue.

Nice to see you still sticking up for the demented.

It’s hardly a surprise to see that you still leap to conclusions, and still don’t read the posts. Our friend Illbay stated (in Post #3) that “this guy is still obsessed with bringing back the ‘good old days’ when white men owned black men.” I merely requested documentation (see Post #6) – which he is apparently unable to provide.

But now that you’re here, perhaps you can help him prove his claim. Or perhaps not…

While this would be his heart's desire he is not so demented as to actually state it. That last little bit of sanity is holding out.

After all what humanitarian could not want to do that since the Blacks were so happy under de massah and they just hate integration sooo much. Yawsuh, weons wuz jes so happy in de days of pickin cotton and snackin on dem watermelons.

What a nutball!

"If it was Kim Bessinger then it would have been an interesting story"

First glance at the thread title looked like it was her.

I believe she spells her name 'Basinger,' not "Bessinger"...

On we go and spin and spin and spin. P.S.

I'll bet his biography is absolutely fascinating guaranteed to hold your interest at least thru the first sentence. Should be zooming right up the Best sellers list.

Lester Maddox probably wrote the introduction if he is still alive.
