Excellent, LC. Thank you for taking the time to do this!
Now, as we get started, can we index this? Can we use this as the MAIN thread and index others to something like we did "CONDIDIT"? That REALLY helped those of us looking for these articles!

Good idea.
Lion's Cub, I will leave it up to you to think of a proper equivalent to "Condidit" for related threads.

Cool! I'm in. Do you have the pictures of the FBI's most wanted? It was floating around here yesterday. I'll go search. Putting faces to some of these names will help.

You and Irma are the BEST at finding articles. This will help us understand some of this and link them all together. Maybe we'll get LBGA over here to make a flow chart!

Raymond Loeb
Arrested by French weekend 9/21/01 w/Serge Salfati and Yves Ekwella for possession of what is believed to be uranium-235, a material used in the construction of atomic weapons. The uranium is reported to have been supplied by members of the Russian mafia. Had air tickets to Kazakhstan at the time of their arrest. Just thought this needed to be highlighted.

This has been on my mind all week:
Is anybody besides me surprised at the amount of "information" they left behind? And just simple things, that could have easily been destroyed or discarded.

I wondered about that also. Some of it seems to be fingering others in the plot. All the better for us to nab them all.

Is anybody besides me surprised at the amount of "information" they left behind? And just simple things, that could have easily been destroyed or discarded. One possible explanation is that, while the evidence may be genuine, it may not have been found exactly as portrayed.
To: Lion's Cub
Good point- protect the source.

I'm no good at thinking of catchy phrases like "Condidit". All I can come up with at the moment is "TerrOrWar". Maybe someone else can come up with something better.
BTW, I confess that I didn't follow the Condit mania, since it was obvious that it was fruitless after a few days. How did the "indexing" work? Was it just a keyword in the original posting of the article? Or was there a way to incorporate it in something someone else posted?
To: Lion's Cub, Howlin, TerrOrWar
OK, I've followed your suggestion. Note where I put "TerrOrWar", in the "Reply To" box. That makes it possible to find it when you do a search on 'to:"TerrOrWar"'.

Oops, I was forgetting how the search function works. It's: to:TerrOrWar , without any quotation marks.
