Well Alberta seems to be. Maybe it is time for them to try what Quebec has failed at.

I kinda think of Canada as our retarded younger brother. He really can't live by himself, but he usually means well and we love him despite his blunders. Also, Mexico is our screw-up older brother, always in debt, selling the family tv for pot etc.

Very simple: they do what we tell them to, or they don't do business with the US. I suspect the US economy can survive just fine without Canadian business, but I doubt the reverse is true.

You did not need to write this for me to know somthing i already knew, Canadians hate America & Americans. As an American I tell people this all the time. Don't let their flag waving fool you. Don't forget, Canadians bash America around their coffee tables, dinner tables, at school, at work, etc... We must,MUST, keep this in mind. We have a phrase here in the US; F*&k me......F&%K YOU, Canadia!

Canada and Canadians are no "brother" to the US. A brother would stand side-by-side with their sibling in a time of trouble, not hem and haw and act like it's business as usual.
The Canadians will not tighten their borders, will not place additional security on their airlines (will they even allow US carriers to place armed sky marshalls on flights in and out of Canada?), will not help to identify and freeze terrorists assets in Canada and are, in general, behaving more like an enemy than a "brother."
The majority of the Canadian people obviously countenance this behavior since they keep electing anti-American politcians time after time.
If Canada does not start behaving like they are with us on this, they deserve the same fate as the Taliban in my opinion.

Maybe not 100% true and certainly not PC, but hilarious!

Hoo boy, we got ourselves a couple of live ones, here.
Look here, you sun-addled hill-billies, our dumb*ssed socialists are no more pernicious than YOUR dumb*ss socialists.
That you don't readily see this is a tribute to your having been raised in a hollow so deep the sun didn't shine.
Best go check yer still, Cletus, them skunks from yonder valley might steal your 'shine.;;^)

LOL. Hit home huh?
Tell ya what. Go back to your igloo, slurp some syrup and turn on a hockey game. The adults will let you know when it's safe to come out.
