I didn't make that graphic, I just found it.
But I made this one :-)
"The Liberty was in international waters. Israel knew who she was and what flag she flew."
Just like the Israeli's knew where all its ground units were at all times? I suppose that the IAF purposely bombed and strafed a company that a cousin of mine led against the Egyptians near Port Said?
What part of "Fog of War" don't you understand? Or is it that you don't care to understand?
As for the Flag, I'm sure that the next time you are flying at 500 knots at 500 feat over a ship, you will be able to see the flag on its staff?
"Pollard deserves death, as does every miserable excuse of a spy, like the Cuban-American woman caught last week."
I break with some of my friends on this issue. Pollard was a spy and should rot in jail.
"Try to justify it all you want, but American interests are and should be the first concern of every American. Americans should not be making excuses for the intrigues against America of foreign states. "
My point is that there was not conspiracy. There was a mistake of war. If anyone conspired it was the CIA in sending a ship into a war zone, after being warned by the Israelis and US Navy, and then failing to tell anyone of its mistake.
"That is pathetic, no matter who the foreign state might be. Israel is nothing special in this regard."
You seem to have a special hatred for it. Why is this?
Bassam_Abu_Sharif, a known terrorist, says "I saw Sharon on television remarking "It's good" when asked about the WTC attack"
Illbay responds (in defense of Israel): TRANSLATION: "I saw an Arab reporter on Arab television who said that Sharon said 'It's good' and since I swallow all their propaganda I swallowed this as well."
OK, I agree with that.
Then Illbay responds to "...the country that is not only our truest ally but also the best at fighting terrorism.
I agree that it is dumb not to have Israel in on this, but the statement that Israel is "our truest ally" is so stupid as to border on the comic., But let's dispense with this silliness about their "trueness" as an ally. "
We soon proceed to
"This altruism about the wonderful, democratic state of Israel is just so much bovine-byproduct. " In addition, you deny knowledge of the James Ennis - Nazi statement which has been posted here many times. Ok, I understand that, it doesn't fit everyone's agenda.
And you wonder why some intelligent people like veronica, rmlew, or Diogenesis question your motives or consider you anti-semitic?
You claim to only an American, yet you refer to Israel as cow @hit and in your response to Veronica compare being anti-semitic to to anit-nazi (You can call it "anti-semitism" if you want, but it is no more that than it is "anti-teutonism" to applaud the fact we kicked Hitler's *ss in WWII.)
Being from Texas, I'm sure you know about cow *hit. I see it every once in a while in Wisconsin. If you wanted to convince me that you are not anti-semitic, could you explain what cow @hit has to do with Israel? Anti-semitism=Anti-teutonism?
I know, because I continually get private email from people who say "thanks for saying what I believe, and standing up to the outrageous cr*p that these people continually spew at you, just for merely daring to say that Israel, a political construct, is NOT the Chosen Land, and that Americans have to stand for America and not some socialist utopia halfway around the world."
Yes, that's what they tell me.
And that's what I think.
And you can continue to make that "link" between American patriotism and anti-semitism if you want. But we are now living in the post-p.c. world. That sh*t just don't float anymore.
Good article! Americans want to believe that everyone is, fundamentally, good. That is simply not the case - there are some who are, deep down, bad. And when we recognize that basic truth, we'll do the right thing regarding Israel - and our shared enemies who spawn terrorist murderers.
Your response, "every time you bull(pull?) that "anti-semitic" bullsh*t..."
I havn't done that. You are a liar.
I continually get private email from people who say "thanks for saying what I believe"
I have no way of knowing. If they feel that strongly, have them post. Otherwise they either they have no strength of conviction, or you are a liar.
And by the way, I really don't think 95% of the FR onlookers think I'm a bloomin idiot trying to "...give a thrill to veronica & dennisw" And you can continue to make that "link" between American patriotism and anti-semitism if you want.
I've never made that link. You are, again, a liar. Clearly you have issues with anyone who questions you about Israel. I don't know why, I asked a question, but I heard nothing, only your rant.
Considering that so many in the anti-Israel crowd have more, and in some cases, many screennames that's not very impressive.
The much banned Skunkworks has at least a half a dozen current names. The banned Kudzu Flat probably has at least a couple.
I don't think I would bother splitting hairs about that, sometimes the British rhetoric makes me wonder, but at this juncture actions speak louder than words.
Can you supply any names of these offended people or cite some references that can be verified?
Inquiring minds want to know!
Sorry IllBoy but Israel is secondary for Osama. Read up on the Wahhabi sect he belongs to.
