Very interesting article, WIMom.
Remember who was in charge of this democrat vote initiative prior to the 1996 election? None other than Al Gore himself.
They were approving people without fingerprint and background checks. Is it any wonder that we have naturalized terrorists and criminals living in our midst.

WiMom (glad you kept your name!)
I never realized just how bad the situation has become. I am not against LEGAL immigration - one that has thorough background checks etc.
But I am against trickery, partisan policies designed to "recruit" new voters from abroad, and against any amnesty program for illegal immigrants. To do so otherwise is a slap in the face of all that came here legally.
Just as these new policies of the x42 administration are a slap in the face to the rest of us.

Yes, nearly all of them vote democrat, that is why clinton wanted them all in before the 2000 elections. Nearly all the immigrants are asian or latin american, who vote overwelmingly democrat. European immigrants are severly limited in coming to this country, too many of them have votee republican in the past.
The millions of new asian immigrants are also strongly for more gun control, for the outlawing of handguns, and even for total civilian disarmament.
7 million new democrat votes, plus their children, is a lot of votes destined for hillary in 2008. These new immigrants will not forget who let them in, and hillary will reap the benefits in 9 years. How are we going to make up 10 million additional new democrat votes? Certainly not from the city public school kids that are being taught by the NEA. That is another major democrat force that may make a democrat landslide in 2008.

I agree. I have a friend who is trying to become a citizen the legal way. She gets so mad when she hears how easy one can become a citizen the illegal method. She's from Canada. (Side note: She's from Quebec and everytime she goes home she spits on the soil when entering Quebec. She also hates x42. All in all, a good candidate for citizenship.)

Reminds me of the White House memo written to Calf. illegal immigrants urging them to vote in the 2000 election.
Hispanics are the fastest growing demographic by far in America. Of course, demonRats will always reach out to this demographic group of poor folks who feel victimized and who come here looking for opportunity. But instead, what they get ia a government that tells them they'll take care of their every need.
The GOP needs to appeal to these folks pride and Christianity and work ethic. We can slow the flow, but we'll never stop it. It is the single biggest threat facing the GOP in the decades which lie ahead.
The demonRats will point to our anti-immigration stance to rally these folks to their side. We are damned if we do and damned if we don't.

Excellent point. It seems like x42/#97 was/is h*ll bent on allowing the dregs of society in, but refusing entry for decent, honest, hard-working, law-abiding people.
