Donna, I agree with you, but don't you know God and politics don't mix?! (/sarcasm)
Amazing how when the fit hits the shan, everyone starts invoking the name of GOD. But look out if we should mention his name in our public schools. Oh no, we can't have that can we?! Give me a break.

My personal favorite was the one about either bringing the terrorists to justice or bringing justice to them.I liked the sentiment behind that line, but I don't like the word "justice". As Charles Krauthammer said, this isn't about justice, this is about war. I don't want subpoenas, special prosecutors, motions, appeals, and Johnny Cochrane convincing some panty-waist liberal judge that Bush is racist. I want bombs and rockets and missiles and bullets.
Don't bring 'em to justice. Bring 'em to their knees.
In front of Allah, preferably.
Shalom

President Bush, Tom Daschle and Trent Lott all made us proud tonight. I have never in my 47 years felt such unity. We are all Americans joined to perserve our liberty!!!!!!! I noticed that President Bush mentioned Democrats and Republicans working together, but never mentioned Independents. Was that an intentional snub? :)
Shalom.

Forget bringing to their knees. I say we simply leave a pile of ashes like they did to our beloved citizens.

My favorite was when he said:
"The course of this conflict is not known,
(and just a bit of a smile and rough edge to his voice)
yet its outcome is certain."
It somehow became very very *real* at that point.
I got chills. I replayed the tape, just to see that part again.

My favorite was: "Mr Speeker, The President of the United States"...and instead of that insipid dweebcrack Clinton the man strolling down the aisle was GW.
