Oops. I guess you already did. I used to listen to a guy named Jerry Hughes who used to play his songs.

'There Is an Eagle' becomes patriotic anthem

Posted on 09/28/2001 01:59:51 PDT by JohnHuang2

...Singer-songwriter Steve Vaus' inspirational patriotic anthem, written days after the terrorist attack on America, has climbed to No. 5 on the MP3.com country charts out of more than 1 million songs on the site, including some by mega-stars such as Martina McBride, Sugar Ray, Faith Hill, Kenny Rogers and Alicia Keys.

This achievement by Vaus' "There Is an Eagle" was reached without the benefit of a recording contract and industry publicity.

Following a story in WorldNetDaily, "There Is an Eagle," has been downloaded by tens of thousands of people and continues to soar on the country charts – up from No. 7 last week, according to Vaus.

"Eagle" is also No. 47 on all the charts...

FYI, the is only one "L" in generalissimo, just as there is only one "S" in desert! ;)

He hasn't posted here since yesterday. Perhaps I should e-mail him.

I had the privilege of meeting Steve Vaus not long ago at the California Republican Assembly Convention. (We had a booth there.) I only knew his voice, and it was ANNA who had to tell me who he was!

I like his new song! Goodness, if we can't even pray and agree that the eagle can soar over the ashes, then we really are in worse shape than I thought!

I should have known that you and Ms. "Unspun" would ALREADY know about Steve!

(You guys hobnob with so many "movers and shakers" in the power elites of entertainment and politics!)

Please promote this NEW song whereever possible. Thanks!

You moron, Steve Vaus has been making patriotic music for years, even though the liberal radio stations have refused to play him, he used to be with RCA untill he got blacklisted for being "too patriotic"

He is giving "There's An Eagle" away for free.

Think before you speak!
