The Speech" - General George S. Patton, Jr. (WARNING: Profanity!!)
I would encourage people as an alternative to purchasing 'stocks" in these dubious international corporations that are funding anti gun groups, and land grab enviro whacko groups, to take that money instead and purchase another firearm, gas masks, water filters, storage food, HAM radios, etc.
"Put your money where your security, freedom and patriot mouth is" in other words.
The international profits-at-any-cost crowd, and the pro-massive immigration crowd and their corporate sponsors are partially to blame for these attacks. I say send them a pure capitalist message that their policies don't jibe with being pro freedom or pro-USA. they have engaged in long running domestic terrorism against the US people. Their "gunlaws" that pass are for the most part disasters. Their policies of appeasement with foreign trade with dictators and their regimes are mostly disasters. Their policies of creating a new two class master/serf society out of the US at the middle classe's expense is mostly a disaster, and it's all linked, you can see the same people and companies and politicans and exteremists so called "non profit" organizations involved in those failed policies. There are over 5,000 buried in the rubble reasons that point directly to their failed polices right now. these folks sacrafice shouldn't be in vain, or re-hijacked by the ones who are partly responsible to be used as a club to destroy even more freedoms, like they are attempting to right now. This should be the mother of all wake-up calls.
We can "do business" but we can also "do business' responsibly, and with our nation's security and our personal freedoms in mind. Put the politicians and the corporations and the qusilings in our midst who fund them on notice, no more "business as usual" with failed policies that exalt the accumulation of "profits" and 'political correctness" and loss of freedoms over everything else. Profits are swell, but they shouldn't be the only data or factor in the mix of people's actions.
We need a vermont style carry law nationwide, including airplanes. If any badguy, foreign or domestic, knows that he is surrounded by armed patriots every place he goes, it will go a long way to stopping crimes and restoring freedoms, both petty and mega-scale. And to those who would say it will be "too dangerous", I say, "you are a weenie, an unthinking weenie". People like that have no understanding of what freedom means, freedom is BOTH personal rights/priveleges and personal duties. Our society has left out the personal duties part for too long. The airline pilots now overwhelmingly want to carry, by a huge percentage, and it's a shame it took a terrorist attack to get them to move on it in a big way, but I'm glad it's finally happening now. Now the airlines want a multi billion dollar bailout. Well, if they had used their lobbying clout to make SAFETY as part of their lobbying efforts and corporate policy,JUST MAYBE these attacks wouldn't have happened. Where were these corporate airline people in the gun debates before? They were AWOL. this is somethiong the unions-gasp, yes, I said the unions-can get involved with. time for saner national domestic gun policies, and that would apply democrat or republican. we can seize the moral and practical high ground here, to say nothing of re-taking our second amendment born-with rights.
We are at war, we have enemies both foreign and domestic who are serious killers. We have appeasers and no-nothings and quislings here. Our response as freedom loving people is clear, no negotiations with terrorists, anytime, or anyplace. From smalltown USA to over the skies in our largest city or capitol, NEVER AGAIN. A patriot is ARMED, period. That's how this nation was set up, and how it should be, 100% of the time. Time to tell the anti freedom quislings in our midst to BACKOFF. We have a nation to run, and it's past time we ceased letting those idiots run it, they have failed in their duties.
Me too, 13 years ago. Otherwise I'd be there Thursday :) Used to live right down the street...
