Where is Gary Condit? Still on the Intelligence Committee...the Democratic leadership in this country is below contempt.

So, another road leads back to the Clinton's. And to have Gary Condit, a democrat who voted against Clinton in the impeachment mess, blamed for Chandra's death, what a master stroke!

Condit did not vote to impeach Clinton. He only voted to approve an investigation preliminary to an impeachment resolution. He voted no on all four impeachment resolutions.

Also, I'm not sure Condit is entirely off the hook. He may have been used to lure Chandra out of her apartment at 4:30 in the morning.

I just don't believe that his affair with Chandra had anything to do with her disappearance other than (as you suggested) to make him the obvious suspect.

Thank you for the clarification. I have not followed the Condit mess as much as others have.

CORRECTION: So, another road leads back to the Clinton's. And to have Gary Condit, a democrat who voted to approve an investigation preliminary to an impeachment resolution, blamed for Chandra's death, what a master stroke!

Yes. And Condit is, if any thing, more of a security risk now than he was before knowledge of the afairs became public.

Almost all of the recent traitors who disclosed classified information did it for money, not because they were being blackmailed.

With all of his legal bills, Condit probably needs money more now than at any time in his career.

I'll buy that 100%.

Another intersting article, Jim. Thanks

I suggest you post it again in about a week (assuming no earthshaking developments in the meantime) after attention is not so thoroughly focussed elsewhere.

Given the intelligence failure in the current crisis, I can believe in Condit's consistent role. Now, we're missing thousands, but we've at least got good clues where to find them. No thanks to Condit's committee.

You did a very complete job on this, with no punches pulled. What amazes me is how folks who just read the same info can chose to edit out any possibility of bi-partisan corruption. Let me BOLD this repeated part that the other party played in all this ----

"In the last year of President Reagan’s second term, Green was appointed to the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to serve a non-renewable seven-year term. That court deals exclusively with national security and with international terrorism, and involves approving applications for electronic surveillance. Judges on that court require the highest security clearance available. In 1990, then President George Herbert Walker Bush appointed Green presiding judge of that court and she handled all emergency matters during the remaining five years of her term."

"Judge Green also presided over the BCCI trial that had resulted from indictments obtained by New York Assistant District Attorney Robert Morgenthau. Morgenthau’s investigation was stopped when the FBI stepped in under the direction of Robert Meuller (currently the new FBI Director) and no further investigation ensued."

Here's my theory on Chandra Levy. She was a warning to all other congressmen who have similar problems (and I don't think I want to know how many there are) to keep there mouths shut about whatever.

I am absolutely convinced that the activities of the last week ( and possible coverups of all of the shenanigans in the last several years) is due to the fact that many of our elected officials have been severely compromised.

Many are compromised but there are also many who voluntarily joined "the other side" many years ago, IMO.

But Mueller must be good because that dedicated conservative Christian John Ashcroft promoted his nomination.

The message I hear out of the Washington, D.C. bullhorn is: "Come out with your hands up -- we have you surrounded."

I'm almost afraid to look for what's going on under the radar (unrelated to terrorists) at present.
