Oh, for God's sake. Let's get back to normalcy, folks. Enough of this sensitivity crap. This is feeding right into the hands of the Terrorists, who would be delighted to learn we have curtailed our planned activities in response to their attack.

I'll be honest. I've purposely crashed into buildings using flight simulator. I've also landed on the little island the Statue of Liberty is on.Ditto.

The last Flight Simulator I bought was years ago, entitled "The Battle of Britain" - I have to admit I was a vicious bastard on that game: not only did I use my Spitfire or Hurricane to bring down German fighters and bombers, I'd strafe the pilots and crew who parachuted out
("Bomb my country will you, you Nazi bastards....").
I'll buy a flight simulator again if it puts me in the cockpit of a Tornado bomber on a run over Afghanistan. I'll enjoy chasing down the little Osama retreating in panic as I chase him down. ;)

I fell strongly that they should be left in FS2002 which is due out next month. Taking them out would be akin to trying to erase from the memory of all who suffered and died from this senseless act. No, it's just an acknowledgement of reality -- there aren't going to be any WTC towers in New York in 2002.
In time, though, I think they should be rebuilt.
