Also, in Islam, Christ is not the Son of God, who laid down his life for sinners, He is a coward, who tricked his executioners when they came for him into killing Peter instead. That difference in the religions alone makes ALL the difference.
I say that what we see in the Middle East (their culture; their misery) is the fruit of worshipping the god of the Koran. Ideas (and religions) DO have consequences.
It is true that Jesse Jackson and many, many others twist the Bible, but the evil we witnessed Tuesday is the ultimate fruit of the teachings of Mohammad, as was the brutal conquest of North Africa and large sections of Asia, African slavery, and so many other evils in the world since the madman Mohammad started his conquests. It's not politically correct to say, even on a freedom-loving forum such as this, but it's true, and it's at the base of this particular problem. I don't respect Islam at all - I long for all those under its darkness to come to the Light.
That campiagn took about 300 years to complete. But, that was before warplanes, tanks, nuclear warships and computers.
I'll bet we can finish the same job in about 5-7 years.
We are supporting the Muslims in Kosovo, we even bombed the christians in Serbia for them. We have provided aid for Egypt, the Palestinians and Jordan. We supported the Afghanis against the soviets(enlisting Usama bin Laden in there behalf and going so far as teaching them terrorist tactics). Look at Chechenya right now. We have been bending over backwards courting the Arabs.
It looks to me like the Muslims are getting their way with us more and more all the time.
Who would benefit if that were to stop?!!!!!!!!!!!
This could be a situation where the youngest child calls mama into the action to dish out some punishment to the other siblings.
It could be a situation where someone with an agenda and the power to call the shots is shaping public opinion.
I am pragmatic. I would not look a gift horse in the mouth. Let us do what has to be done. However, best we not feel too righteous about it.
Cheers:^)
I have lived in the Middle East and there are many many good people there. Many more love us than hate us, they just aren't in a position to scream it to the world.
Please, don't start attacking any American Arabs. They are most undoubtably not terrorists and not aiding and abetting terrorists and they don't cheer when stuff like this happens.
Let's have no hate crimes nor violence committed by any Americans outside of war and those we war against.
Don't condemn all Arabs or all Muslims for the actions of a few.
Don't hurt nor kill fellow Americans of Middle Eastern backgrounds nor destroy or damage their mosques, property, or possessions.
We are civilized and we will act civilized and always with grace!
If you see someone unjustly being hurt then call the police or using discretion, if possible, maybe step in and help the people until police can arrive. Don't let mob mentality rule!
Remember! They are Americans, too!
I think we need to also acknowledge that many people from many countries died in the WTC attacks, not just Americans. We need to extend our sympathies to their families and countries. eg. South Korea, Britain, Japan, etc.
Look at this <a href="http://www.canoe.ca/CNEWSWorldTrade0109/photo7a.html> photo </a>. These are not women mourning in New York or DC. These are Palestinian women, Muslims, who are mourning.<p> In the US, there have already been attacks against people who simply *look* Islamic. Everyone is angry, I'm white and shaking and have been since Tuesday moring, but to blame people for the bombing because of their religion is the same thinking that these inhuman monsters used to justify what they did on 9/11. These war criminals don't represent Muslims any more than Tim McVeigh represents the patriot movement <p> We will kill those who did this and we will punish the nations who supported them. But don't anyone let their anger bring harm to innocents, who have no responsibilty for these crimes.

Oh, how I wished they hadn't said that. Now the U.S. military will have to kill them all. There is no other way. But they have chosen their own path.
We do NOT worship the same God. The Lord Jesus differentiated and told us we don't all worship the same God, that we deceive ourselves if we think that."By their fruits ye shall know them."
Trust me, the Taliban has no desire to go to Heaven and see Jesus Christ on the throne. But they will see Him there, if only from a distance. The suicide bombers are told that if they follow through, they will be met in heaven by seven virgins!
Tolerance is a virtue for those who believe in nothing.
I thank god for people like you who can direct your anger thoughtfully and at the right place.
