"But I insist that the war be conducted by the elected government of this nation and not by the corrupt clinton hold-overs of the last 8 years. Where did the code words come from? I will bet sabot to heat rounds that the transmitter of that information has a (d) behind his/her name. I want it found out and I want them prosecuted for treason, convicted and hung - publicly.

I want the micro-management of the govt. appointments to stop. After Tuesday there can be no more desire for degrees of idealogical purity within the (r) party. It is no longer acceptable for dems appointed by x42 to remain in critical positions where they can continue to do things that embarass the administration (best case) or endanger our military personnnel - or President - as what happened on Tuesday (worst case)."

Just because it needs saying again.

We must make them cringe in pants-wetting fear at the thought of ever hurting Americans again.

Amen, Shrew! We have put up with so much from these "people" over the decades, turning the other cheek each time. Well, all four cheeks are faily glowing from the slaps, and it's time to take 'em to task!

Great post, as usual, ROL!

Why are Americans allowing this? We are at war, and this is the enemy.

Because we must "celebrate diversity"? I tend to throw up every time I hear this nauseous PC phrase.

True. BUT! I caution everyone to not hate all Arabs just because of a minority that hate us and try/succeed at murdering Americans.

I have lived in the Middle East and there are many many good people there. Many more love us than hate us, they just aren't in a position to scream it to the world.

Please, don't start attacking any American Arabs. They are most undoubtably not terrorists and not aiding and abetting terrorists and they don't cheer when stuff like this happens.

Let's have no hate crimes nor violence committed by any Americans outside of war and those we war against.

Don't condemn all Arabs or all Muslims for the actions of a few.

Don't hurt nor kill fellow Americans of Middle Eastern backgrounds nor destroy or damage their mosques, property, or possessions.

We are civilized and we will act civilized and always with grace!

If you see someone unjustly being hurt then call the police or using discretion, if possible, maybe step in and help the people until police can arrive. Don't let mob mentality rule!

Remember! They are Americans, too!

I think we need to also acknowledge that many people from many countries died in the WTC attacks, not just Americans. We need to extend our sympathies to their families and countries. eg. South Korea, Britain, Japan, etc.

Please please please remember that these terrorists were a small group of Ismlamic fundamentalists. Yes, there were groups of ignorent Palestinians cheering in the streets, but remember that Arafat (not a man I admire or support) condemned the attack and made a very public showing of giving blood.

Look at this <a href="http://www.canoe.ca/CNEWSWorldTrade0109/photo7a.html> photo </a>. These are not women mourning in New York or DC. These are Palestinian women, Muslims, who are mourning.<p> In the US, there have already been attacks against people who simply *look* Islamic. Everyone is angry, I'm white and shaking and have been since Tuesday moring, but to blame people for the bombing because of their religion is the same thinking that these inhuman monsters used to justify what they did on 9/11. These war criminals don't represent Muslims any more than Tim McVeigh represents the patriot movement <p> We will kill those who did this and we will punish the nations who supported them. But don't anyone let their anger bring harm to innocents, who have no responsibilty for these crimes.

............and it was pure, A-1 P.R.

Arafat didn't disapprove of what these guys did, rest assured. He's scared spitless, because he's not an idiot: he KNOWS that Hell's comin' to town in the Middle East..........bearing red, white, and blue.

He also knows that, the way the U.S. feels right now, Allah may just have to sort 'em all out after the fact.

And the attitude that "Allah may have to sort 'em all out" is exactly what I'm speaking against. Don't you see that this is how the fanatics who plunged those planes into the towers thought?!

What would you have us do? Carpet bomb Afganistan?

What good can come of killing men, women and children who had nothing to do with this act of war?

......but as to your other main point, I've already acknowledged that. However, many in the Middle East who do not share the blood lust of their radical brethren and sisters will die right along side of them. It's sad, it isn't fair, it's tragic................

.........AND THESE MURDEROUS ISLAMIC BASTARDS SHOULD HAVE DAMNED-WELL THOUGHT OF THAT BEFOREHAND.

Let's see what "heroes" they're considered to be after their actions result in their home countries being reduced to rubble, their economies destroyed, their people forced to return to living in tents in the desert.

Sadly, it's the only way. No more half measures. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Lobbing a couple of cruise missiles, hand-wringing about "understanding" our enemy will NOT suffice any longer.

It is a sad fact of life that innocent lives (in the sense that they played no role in these attacks) will be snuffed, perhaps even under a mushroom cloud not seen since 1945. But if that is what it takes, then so be it.

Listen to yourself. The fricking fanatics who bombed the World Trade Center thought the SAME DAMNED WAY: "The Americans should have thought about the number of civilians who would die before they bombed Iraq, or before they supported Israel."

Should the members of the American Patriot movement, militias for example, have been arrested en mass after the McVeigh arrest?

We are a great nation, a proud nation, a virtuous nation. We WILL exact a terrible vengance on those responsible.

BUT, we will NOT engage in barbaric acts, we will not slaughter innocents because they live in the same space as the perpetrators or, however tangentially, worship the same God.

TALIBAN ANTICIPATING MASSIVE U.S. ATTACK; VOWS REVENGE

Oh, how I wished they hadn't said that. Now the U.S. military will have to kill them all. There is no other way. But they have chosen their own path.

We do NOT worship the same God. The Lord Jesus differentiated and told us we don't all worship the same God, that we deceive ourselves if we think that."By their fruits ye shall know them."

Trust me, the Taliban has no desire to go to Heaven and see Jesus Christ on the throne. But they will see Him there, if only from a distance. The suicide bombers are told that if they follow through, they will be met in heaven by seven virgins!

Tolerance is a virtue for those who believe in nothing.

Yes, Jeff...........unfortunately, we will. That's called "war". "War" is ugly. "War" is unjust and nondiscriminatory. "War" no longer differentiates between combatants and non-combatants; soldiers and civilians. THAT is called "modern warfare". I know that you are offended by the very thought, but what I'm telling you is that THIS will be the result, THIS will be the consequence of these terrorists' horrific actions.

They've had it coming for a long, long time. They have never given a damn about the impact on their fellow Muslims or fellow countrymen. No...........they have been so blinded by their hatred AND supported by loud, cheering throngs of fellow Muslims that they have dedicated themselves to our destruction......damn the consequences.

Therefore, your frustration is noble (no, I'm not in the least being sarcastic with you) and understandable, but mis-aimed.
