Stay away from the Ivies and other "trendy" schools. Dittos to that; is it Yale or Harvard's bioethicist, name of Stinger, who says that beatiality is OK.

He does not know where he wants to go yet. Thanks for making sure we ask the obvious question. And again, I don't mean to sound heavy-handed, just concerned.
Regards.

Actually, I love A&M as a school. The most fun I ever had as a cellist was when I played in "the band" for Red Skelton when he entertained at the Student Union at A&M. 70 years old, 2.5 hour one-man show, and he REALLY connected with the kids. It was a blast!
Having grown up in Texas I will always have a warm spot in my heart for A&M (except for Thanksgiving + 1 or + 2 or whatever it will be). Do you hate the fact we don't play on Thanksgiving any more as much as I do?
Thanks for replying.

University of Richmond is a candidate.
Excellent Business School.
Was conservative 20 something years ago.....
Beautiful campus, pretty decent sports teams (Spider's).
Good city and location. Southern hospitality, charm and Monument Avenue.

Randian libertarianism - sounds like college... I suppose one can't avoid these things...

It's funny - my 2 oldest boys don't play an instrument (my wife is, how to put it delicately - TONE DEAF). Seriously, she could not sing her way out of a wet paper bag (but I love her)...
My youngest is playing piano (seven yrs old). Good luck to your violist!
Regards.

Nice plan, our local community college is 5X cheaper than his current prep school...

I suspect no College is conservative enough for me these days. But for a very good private college, with good rigorous academics, in a "safe" environment, and a beautiful area, this one is worth clicking on for a look.
Click Here.Have a Grandaughter there now. Had a daughter graduate from there 20 years ago. And I graduated from there long before that. Very solid when compared with most else, and recommended.

Hmmm, Oct 6. Wanna put that MIT thinking into a little friendly wager? Say, FR bragging rights for one year?
Last year REALLY HURT!...
