There was an article about a British woman married to an Arab telling how difficult life was now on the West Bank. She started the article by writing how in the past life was carefree and she and her friends would "jump in the car" and go to the beach. But, now such going to the beach is not possible because of Israeli roadblocks and life is hell.

I questioned whose fault is the current situation.

I wrote pointing out that such description of life: how easy it was to go to the beach (in Israel)-and how much fun life was-proved that the mantra of "brutal Israeli occupation" is a continuous lie from the Arab sources. I attacked this women narcissism.

I don't remember that I targeting any other freeper, only this British author. I am certain I did not use any objectioable words.

My comments were pulled.

Sounds good to me. I'm glad the Robinsons had the wisdom to do it this way, rather than try to handle it all by themselves. Also, it appears that the particular way you are handling this is appropriate.

So, keep up the good work! While I don't always agree with things on FR, including on rare occasions the way things are handled at the top, I wouldn't be here every day if I didn't think that Free Republic was important and making a difference. Jim especially deserves a LOT of praise for what he's accomplished here. Thanks, Jim.

Might help if only moderators start a subsequent thread. Also, perhaps once a subsequent thread has started there would be a way to close posts to the older thread. 'Tis tough jumping back and forth for those of us who are limited...

I have moderated / hosted in IRC up until a few months ago (including the chat side of the house on one particular website that most Freepers vilify on a daily basis). I can guarantee that you do not have an easy job moderating this bunch, and you have my respect for taking on the responsibility. Frankly, I wouldn't do it again on a bet, but I wish you nothing but the best of luck.
