Like all areas of government, our child "welfare" division is out of control. We have some friends who are constantly being "supervised" by social workers, and have been for years. Their crime? One of their small children tried to run out into a busy street, was grabbed and got a quick slap on the but. Classic behavior conditioning; one of the first ways we learn things. However, this was seen by a social worker.... What we really need to do is change the culture back to what it was when we cherished freedom. In order to have a prayer of doing that, we need to fight the Lawyers, Liberals and Lemmings (see www.logic101.net). The main reason much of our government is against home schooling is that it takes away their primary indoctination tool; public schools. Because public schools (which the Feds have no Constitutional authority to control) are nothing more than indoctrination camps we are sending our child to private school. We made the decision years ago that we'd do whatever was necessary to be able to afford it. MARK A SITY
