1)Reagan presided over the LAST amnesty for illegals, and Hispanics still vote DemocRat 2-1.

2)Bush's bending over for Vincente Fox wins him no brownie points with all the Hispanics who are NOT Mexican. His plan to grant amnesty to 3 million illegal Mexicans wins him few brownie points with 18 million LEGAL Mexican immigrants who will watch their wages go down the toilet.

3) Blacks vote at a rate 4X higher than Hispanics. Blacks vote at a higher rate than whites! Based on 2000 turnout, you'd need over 100 million Hispanics to equal the voting power of 39 million blacks.

4)As you should know by now, electoral votes elect presidents, not popular vote. Hispanics are concentrated in Texas and California. Neither promises to be a battleground state.

5) According to most polls, 90% of Americans don't want more immigration. Any Hispanic votes picked up by Bush will more than be negated by the whites that go third party or simply don't vote for RepublicRats anymore.

Bush's sucking-up to his amigo Fox is going to send the RepublicRats the way of the Whigs.

In this case, it *could* get worse -- much, much worse.

There are a lot of whites that feel guilty for the past; a lot of self-haters brought up in the liberal fold. But they also are near empty of morals and very self-centered.

It is one thing to hate yourself. It is another thing entirely to vote yourself into the poor house.

Human nature can be an ugly thing, and that is what Jesse is starting to play around with in a very direct manner. The pump has already been primed, perhaps this sort of thing has the potential to start it churning out hatred, zealots, and racists by the thousands.

Jesse is desperately seeking to create a real problem to back up his smoke and mirrors. If he succeeds, it will be a terrible day for the US and the world.

It doesn't matter whether or not it makes it through. All that matters is that it further divides this country by intensifying racial tensions. It is a matter of perception *on both sides*, and that is what this is about.

No rational person seriously thinks this idea has a chance of succeeding, but it certainly has a chance of taking us back to the LA Riots and worse.

You can't know self-responsibility if its existence has been hidden from you.

Sadly, there's not much I as a White man can do about it. I can't convince the Blacks in poverty to stop voting themselves masters whose only goal is to keep the Blacks in a situation where they, the masters, will be needed.

The Democrats have a good closed loop going. Even fellow Blacks who have succeeded in the American Dream are ridiculed and ignored as being 'too White' or something similar.

I am saddened by this, because many Whites think it is a racial problem, but it isn't. As Phantom Lord said, it is a cultural problem, and one set up so as to reinforce itself.

Eventually, this situation will change, for better or worse -- all things change. When that happens, I hope it is for the better, but, being rather a cynic when it comes to human nature, I think it will be for the worse and people will die -- maybe a lot of people -- before things get better again.

I disagree. The environmental movement catered to people's desire to live in a clean, pristine envirornment. It wasn't just 'for the children', but 'for *their* children'.

The reperation idea would be based purely on racial lines and not something universal. Therefore, I don't think it will get as much acceptance out of Whites, and therefore it isn't as good a movement.

I was listening to the Sean Hannity Show yesterday when the reparations issue came up. I was stunned at how many callers thought it was a good idea! The logic was that this will ease racial tensions. AACCKK! Duh? Not likely. My suggestion is this: Give each person who demands reparations $1.00. It will be $1.00 more than they would have had their ancestors stayed in Africa.

This is the pablum the Eco-Marxists fed to the "useful idiots". After all, who in their right mind doesn't want to live in a clean environment? You can tell what the true aim of the movement is by the only methods they use to promote a "clean environment", the force of government!

Ah, but you forget about "Whitey Guilt". Can you say, forced integration, forced busing, affirmative action, i.e. racism against whites, generations of welfare. You get the idea. I read in a magazine artical today about the scams against Blacks using reparations. In one instance thousands upon thousands of Blacks were sent out forms claiming to be from the I.R.S. to fillout to receive their $5000.00 reparation settlement. Blacks sent everything from copies of drivers license, marriage license, birth certificates,(Some of these were originals)and Social security # to a post office box. No money was requested, but think of what they can do with all of this information. Another scam had Blacks sending information plus 120.00 processing fee.
