"I want President Bush and all Republicans to win more votes,...."

That's what it is all about, power! To hell with what is in the best interests of the country's citizens as long as they, Republican or Democrat retain their grip on the throats of the people.
Dismantle the political crime syndicates by voting in Independents and return this country to the constitutional republic that it once was.

Libertina, You are sniffing out a likely suspect-his Christianity carried out to the absurd, as a ploy to the wishy-washy soccer-moms. I am also sickened by the goofy theories being posited as either the underlying logic or panaceas ( libertarian among them-I see an absence of morals here, communtarianism, communism, third way, etc. ). Bush may just be letting mistaken advisors suggest strange permutations on our much perverted 'responsibilities' for the welfare of those poor unfortunates. Looks like something very strange is amiss with the comments & behavior of the Bushman. His words & actions do indeed sound more like some preacher thinking out loud about a prospective sermon, instead of the policy positions or leading admonitions one might expect from the chief executive. Funny that nowhere in this argument is the real origin & reason for the unfortunate's awful condition in glorious Old Mexico. Of course, the truly impoverished would be hard pressed to pay the coyote.

Bogus logic should never trump the Constitution, NEVER!

Parol, Shamol! We have acquired a polyglot of goofy, troublesome aliens with little standing. Heard stat yesterday-80 language 'groups' in COLUMBUS,OH!! Illegals are criminals. They should be deported-now.

Yesterday, the FBI carried out a very apropriate warrant to search for documentation of money gathering ( & etc ) for Hamas ( or however the so-called palestinians spell the handle for their humanitarian human bomb squad ). The FBI was perfroming their proper, legal business, provoked no one, shot no one, violated no private property ( except as required to secure documents from an organization that has been soliciting $$ on Dallas radio for some year or two ). The agents were greeted with loud protests from a number of foreign nationals-guess what flavor. We were only a short step from real violence by these hostile aliens. We are, as a nation of laws invaded by people with no respect for those laws, about to experience mechanical operating difficulties. This will get very ugly. Both sides of the countless clashes to come may react in the worst manner possible.

Please add to this political witch's brew, those thousands ( or tens or hundreds of thousands ) of truly bad actors-here illegally, to do us harm, spy, disrupt and conduct fraud for cash to send home ( the FBI has been greatly burdened with that last gambit-fraud ). When will people come to understand our circumstance & care about this? When their bank account is emptied? When they witness mob violence, against or by aliens? When public institutions are closed for security reasons? When concealed carry must become perfunctory, a way of life in every setting, a la Israel? Criminals have no regard for a civil society, based on law.

Thanks.

Deportation is alive and well. The numbers subject to deportation are overwhelming; the numbers subject to a voluntary return are astronomical. For example: The Border Patrol alone apps over a million each year. Next time you see an Agent, ask what is overall percentage they catch on any given day. They will tell you probably about 20 percent on a good night. You do the math.

Your right, back in the 50's and 60's the Farm Worker program was called the Bracero program and worked pretty well. Back then they also used to repatriate Mexican illegals down to southern Mexico instead of right on the line.

As far as Deportation goes, just for INS to clean out the Federal, State and Local jails in the interior of felons is a big enough task; and of course each of these people is entitled to a hearing in a court before a judge prior to deportation.

You should be pissed, I am.

Bump

"we need to concentrate on the enemy. The people of Mexico are just seeking a better life. It's the corrupt thugs in D.C. who are deliberately destroying this country".

Of course you can't blame the poor uneducated coming out of the south. They see and opening and they head for it. The whole problem here rest with our own so called leaders that are selling us out, everyday. As some people blindly cheer them on.

"I have but one question regarding illegals in the U.S. Why is the one word I NEVER hear.... DEPORTATION... ignored????"

Because it's not politically correct these days I suppose. Illegal aliens should be deported as soon as they are caught. End of story.

There is nothing I would like more than Mexicans moving up.

I would love to see every illegal alien as brilliant, highly educated, with the morals of a saint.

In that way the general level of the population would be raised. Instead, it appears this country is headed into being another Mexican cesspool.

Well, Lets start with demographics.

Considering the current age of the workforce, and jillions of Baby Boomers headed for RETIREMENT, coupled with the low birth rate of the past two decades, and an economy that runs around 95% employment, where do YOU plan to get the workers to fill the anticiapted gaps in the workforce?

What you can't help knowing that us (Mexicans) are moving up in society

Just do it legally. Is that so much to ask?

Democrats immediately urged their GOP colleagues to quickly move "comprehensive" immigration legislation that would emphasize family reunification, establish a guest worker program, and include an earned legalization component for some of those "guest workers."

Gephardt may be vile but he isn't stupid. Liberal Democrats have been so busy aborting the next generation of voters, they know they must resort to immigration to replace them.
