Eastern Europeans have been indoctrinated by the atheist communists for 100 years. This does not foster a love for God now does it? Are you saying there is a genuine Christian movement in Eastern Europe now? What is your evidence?
And I wouldn't be so quick to grant virtuous status to Russia - it is still an oppressive nation with godless communistsn still in control in many aspects, with sky high levels of corruption, alcoholism, drug abuse, and crime.
According to Marx (Lenin and Stalin), the Socialism/Communism satarts with Dictatorship of Proletariat. Goal ('scientifically' motivated!) of this ditatorship is to suppress resistance of capitalists and their allies (very flexible formula, anyone may be - and were - included). GULAG was a Marxism at its extreme. Period
Sorry, I studied it all...
And China will then see you as the threat rather than us.
Who is you and who is us here? I am a Russian resident of Arizona, just for giggles...
You have to have your aluminum deflector beanie on too tight to think the Russians are as unfree as they were seventeen years ago.
Where did I say this?! Plus I am not accustomed to wear aluminum deflector beanies. Long exposure to Marxist ideology made my skull a perfect shield against idiotic propaganda [like in the posted article]
[:-)
The "you" refrence was general, not specific. When the Russians are a free and a growing ecomic power, the Chinese will see them as the primary threat in the years to come. Why worry about the corrupting capitalist nation on the other side of the Pacific when there's one right next door?
NaW.
(These will be interesting times...)
This 'phylosophy' is a compilation of idealistic dialectics and materialistic... materialism. Marx and his followers are one of many schools who tried to fit recent scientific discoveries into classic phylosophical systems and even into religions.
There is nothing specificaly applicable to society and economy, except that economy is driven by material interests. What's new? Adam Smith, if I remember the name right.
"Dictatorship of the Proletariat" stuff is just high-falutin' cover the despots used for killing off their enemies.
This is a dangerous misconception. Indeed, the 'Dictatorship of Proletariat' is understood by the West mostly as a Lenin's practical application. Lenin had poorely organised (just from the farm folks mostly!) proletariat up to grabs - and he utilised this slogan.
Western working class is not that easy to drive crazy into revolt - and there another tactic is used. State Regulations, State Protection, State Control - you shall know it well.
But the outcome is the same - Total Governmental Regulations... All as in Marxism, which you call 'unrealized and unrealizable'. Socialism it is called by Marx, and this all-mighty government supposed somehow magically to die out.
Be careful with this 'pure unrealizable' Marxism! You (and I) can find it just around the corner one day.
