On the plus side, today we found out our 10 year dem governor has decided not to run for re-election next year. That clears the way for Sen. Jeffords to run (it's been hinted at) or for our Socialist Congressman Sanders, who's also supposedly interested.

Maybe it will be a swap, Jeffords for governor and Dean goes to the Senate. Anything's possible up here. ;-{
