Russia is still working on its SPECIAL MILITARY OPERATION, but has had numerous setbacks...
Selling hard assets to finance current operations is never a good sign.
A few years ago there was talk of Russia China both going to a gold backed currency to screw the US Dollar. It looks like China will have to pull this off by themselves. Putin is blowing Russians national treasure in Ukraine.

Beats me, I don’t live there. But even if they did, that’s not the only claim in the story. Perhaps they sell gold on a regular basis or this is a first-time (as claimed by the Dutch)? We have no way of knowing as that wasn’t announced.
