Pretty much. Their (sub-polar) ancestors arrived more than 20,000 years ago. Of course after that they evolved into a lot of different tribes.
I'd like Indigenous Peoples day on June 19th. Turn a political holiday into something to celebrate.

Two DNA studies now confirm Columbus was a Sephardic Jew from a Spanish family of weavers, not Italian.
It’s consistent with rumors his entire life and his writing in Hebrew.
I believe he landed on Rosh Hashana or Yom Kippur, which is interesting.
