I sense the shutdown will be ending soon.
It is amazing. They knew that what is happening could well be the result, and it was legal for him to do what he is doing.
Yet they did it anyway. They probably think they are playing a 4D chess game, and they have "really got him now". Or will.
However, this is the FO part that comes after FA. Just wait until they begin firing government employees and eliminating entire branches of agencies, or even the agencies themselves.

I was going to say the SEC appointment is an important one. I’m glad the GOP Senate developed a back-bone and got with the program. Democrats aren’t going to cooperate on anything at all, even the most minor appointment.

A lot! I was hoping to see Jennifer Mascott be confirmed for the Third Circuit. There is an important Second Amendment case coming up in about a week.
Well, it’s better than nothing but I want some federal judges and US attorneys confirmed before I’ll get too enthused about this.
