Yes, Ukraine has been "winning" this war for never ending years on end.

What a way of winning.

I, for one, am tired of hearing about this. I had sympathy for Ukraine when the Ruskies first attacked, but his has gone on too long and Ukraine has not made good use of the billions we’ve and others have given them and the apparent grift from that ingrate Zelensky and others probably that goes on ticks me off. I’m inclined to agree with President Trump’s words. “Just let them fight it out.” At this point, we owe them nothing. We can advocate for peace, but we can’t force anyone and we’re not made of money to be the world’s full-time policeman. Let the chips fall where they may and if it results in a humanitarian crisis, we can address that then.

One advance yesterday near Pokrovsk was 4 kilometers deep.

The Russians have followed their usual practice of forcing commanders to attack continuously until they have too litte materiel and men to hold the territory taken and the Ukrainians take some of it back. Meanwhile the Ukrainians are improving their missiles and are attacking more of Russia's fuel and rail infrastructure.

The big question is whether the Ukrainians can continue to kill Russians at a rate fast enough to prevent their own exhaustion while whacking enough Russian infrastructure to cut the fuel revenues funding Putin's war.

Some say that 1.7 million Ukrainians don't gave to worry about that any more, and the survivors haven't had a break from the fighting for 3 and a half years.

Oh, I meant 30,000 - per Little Zelya.

Common for some villages to change hands multiple times.

Russia is on the ropes! Why quit now.

Let them duke it out.

Russia without oil, without revenue from oil, without tanks, ships, soldiers, how can they win?

Yes, I was pissed that Putin invaded. After watching how Z has executed his side, I don't care anymore. Plus, I see it as a huge distraction for Trump trying to expand the Abraham Accords. The Accords now have 6 enemies of Israel who have agreed to diplomatic relations, including Jordan and Egypt. Trump is now talking to Syria, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia. What an accomplishment if he can get those 3 more nations to sign on.

That would make 9 total and the pressure on the remaining Nations could sway them also. Of course Iran is a no go. I'm not sure about Quatar or Yemen, but Somalia and possibly Libya could be influenced with monetary incentives.

"Russia without oil, without revenue from oil,"

I thought EU is still buying Russian oil.

Putin is fighting a war of attrition. He also thinks he fighting for the mother land and glory of Russia and against NATO expansion. Zelensky has no chance of getting substantial gains to warrant continuing the war. He’s simply fighting for his existence as leader of Ukraine. Saving Ukraine would be taking a deal. It’s not good but the only one he’ll get.

The 1.7 million number is ludicrous. That would make the Russian casualties around 6.8 million at a 4:1 attacker/defender ratio since the Russians have been doing most of the attacking.

You guys have been promising the big Russian victory like carnival barkers for over 3 years.
