But when a jurisdiction knows they have an illegal in their custody but refuses to inform the federal government and/or helps them to evade the federal government by releasing them without notice, they’re harboring an illegal alien in my book. That may be a little harder to prove in a court of law than if there was a more explicit statute, but not that much harder, IMO, if there was the will to do so.
Some Indian-run carrier company operating out of a residential home. See post #5.
Related, since I haven’t been able to verify the violations info on the company contained in the tweet, with a FWIW...

Per #5. That was “another” company.
That whole house is probably running various ghost businesses and other assorted scams.
When one gets into trouble, it vanishes into the ether and reopens under a different name.
And because they're illegals in California, they keep getting away with operating under zero state oversight.
This young couple and an older gentleman riding with them.
They deserve to be remembered. The crash killed Owen Hart, 22; Athena Taylor, 21; and Jeremy Gebo, 44; all of St. George, Utah.
4 to 10 years? For deliberately driving dangerously and killing three people? Anarcho-fascism.
Trust me, it’s not an illusion. It all started 15 years ago. Indians started a few legitimate trucking companies and simultaneously began importing, cousins brothers, acquaintances, and friends of friends to drive the trucks. Obviously, they were able to succeed wildly, because they paid starvation, wages, and skirted more than a handful of regulations. This led to a tsunami. In the last five years nearly all white truck drivers running long distance, trips have disappeared completely. Go to any truckstop along a major interstate corridor and you will see that 90% of the truck drivers are Indian, Eastern European or Mexican. They even have their own truckstops now. They cater to Indian only trucking companies. This was all possible because you cannot compete with illegitimate companies in a highly regulated environment. It’s been sickening to watch, knowing that it only happens because various state governments have not only allowed it, they have embraced the corruption entirely. You cannot compete with companies that literally pay drivers meal money only.
During FMCSA’s interview with the driver, investigators administered an English Language Proficiency (ELP) assessment in accordance with FMCSA guidance. The driver failed the assessment, providing correct responses to just 2 of 12 verbal questions and only accurately identifying 1 of 4 highway traffic signs.
“If states had followed the rules, this driver would never have been behind the wheel and three precious lives would still be with us. This crash was a preventable tragedy directly caused by reckless decisions and compounded by despicable failures. Non-enforcement and radical immigration policies have turned the trucking industry into a lawless frontier, resulting in unqualified foreign drivers improperly acquiring licenses to operate 40-ton vehicles,” said U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy. “We will use every tool at our disposal to hold these states and bad actors accountable. President Trump and I will restore safety to our roads. The families of the deceased deserve justice.”
