Anyone who beleives a Palestinian state adjacent to Israel will lead to peace and tranquility is delusional. After the Holocaust, most Jews cannot even picture a world without Israel. Most Palestinians will never relinquish their claims and ties to the lands that were once theirs. As long as either one remains a viable political entity, there will never be a real peace in the region.

The stupid governments demanding TO ISRAEL to get a cease fire with Gaza, make no demands at all on Hamas, and by threatening to “recognize Palestinian state” “unless there is a cease fire” they are helping to INSURE there will not be a cease fire, as their threat is in fact a reward to Hamas, and telling Hamas to just hold out.

For decades, Israel's been under attack from Iran, via worldwide terrorism, including their terrorist proxies in Lebanon, Yemen, the Gaza Strip, and the PA-occupied Judah and Samaria.

When Zero occupied the White House and when he wasn't subverting the gov't, he and his fat pantsuit Hitlery organized the overthrow of Egypt's gov't and the installation of a pro-Iranian Islamofascist. That didn't last.

Since then, Prez al-Sisi has been consistently undermined by Iran, with the assistance of the Deep State. His hold on power is probably precarious thanks to that; he's had so much trouble with the Iranian-sponsored Bedouin a-holes in the Sinai, his own son settled for a piece of the smuggling action just to simmer things down.

After President Trump leaves office -- unless there are a lot of hangings by then -- there is likely to be a sudden disintegration of public order in Egypt, similar to the one that was engineered in Libya by the Kenyan and likeminded factions in the EU.

Since no one has stepped forward to obliterate the Houthis, security of the massive commerce via the Suez Canal is at stake, and blackmail often works.

Once Hamas is gone, which take more months, Israel is likely to turn its undivided attention to Yemen. Speaking of blackmail working, Israel needs to pass a note to its European and Canadian enemies that the Suez Canal will no longer be off limits if the Palisimian recognition goes through.
