Rule .338? Seems excessive (and expensive).

😁

well well
the legislature of the once-great State of Californication impoverishes working people and shuts down or prevents a lot of employment forcing more and more of them onto welfare handouts

and now the legislature might extend the welfare apartment project slums to Pacific Palisades and the Pasadena area

any legitmate, responsible government would be doing almost everything exactly the reverse (how about zero state income tax, California? it works just fine in several other states which mostly have better roads and schools than California has with its highest income taxes in the nation)
(how about facilitating people who want to...to rebuild their burnt out houses, instead of blocking them with impossible regulations and costly fees...forcing them to sell their burnt out lots so you can build more free welfare slum housing?)
(how about cleaning up the corrupt and dysfunctional energy and utilities and unemployment and bullet train and other notoriously harmful bureaus and commissions that are making California so expansive as to almost be uninhabitable?)
California, once the Golden State for anybody willing to work an honest job doing almost anything productive ... is now the embarrassing dictionary illustrations when you look up words like “dysfunctional” and “most corrupt” and “unlivable”)-—and when you examine each major problem area, it is Sacramento politicians that have either created or intensified the problem.........and in many instances, it is the same people and their appointees that appear to be profiting from doing it to California, too.

Gov. Gavin Newsom announced the allocation of $101 million in taxpayer funds for “multifamily low-income housing development” in communities in Los Angeles devastated by the Palisades, Eaton and Hughes wildfires.

They're trying to do this all over the suburbs surrounding LA. Someone comes in, mows down the home next door and puts up a 2-story 4 or 6 unit apartment building in it's place, right in the middle of an existing neighborhood in the burbs.

Just imagine the political ads when Newscum runs for Prez. Even his democRAT primary opponents will make commercials with “Newscum will do to the nation what he did to Kalifornia.”

There you go....burn down the neighborhood and low-ball the county offers until they sell.

Then Section 8 developers bribe the city for cheap access & looking the other way on the inspection certifications.

Instant wealthy city officials and multi-million dollar slums.

“The California Senate passed a bill to authorize a Los Angeles County “Resilient Rebuilding Authority” that could use public funds to “purchase lots at a fair price for land banking,” and “create open space.” The bill would also allow municipal bodies to use property taxes to fund low-income housing”

EXACTLY as predicted by many FReepers!

****”***”*”””””””

After Newsom loses in 2028 the democrats will finally do some soul searching in the Trump Era.

Until then “buy popcorn.’

Lotsa grants, tax credits, programs blah blah.

The odd part is I never saw any mention of anything for the actual property owners.

It MUST be just an oversight I’m sure...

NO NO NO NO! This must be stopped at all cost. You don’t take some of the most valuable property in all of SoCal and turn it into a future ghetto. Only an enemy of America would ever want to pass a bill like this.

Reparations 101. I’m sure they’ll be satisfied with this grand gesture and take good care of their new homes.

Some people consider that there is less ambiguity in rule .338.

WOW we saw this coming the day of the fires, these bastards are just so transparent the owners of the properties should file a class action lawsuit because of the water situation AND the utter holdup of permits to rebuild NOTHING gets sold to the state while the lawsuit drags through the courts!! WE DONT have enough contempt for these bastards!!!

Followed by campaign contributions to the corrupt politicians.

I absolutely hate, despise, and detest politicians; they serve themselves and their cronies - NOT THEIR CONSTITUENTS.

Politicians here are looking more and more like CCP members, who live in luxury while their people suffer misery and starvation.

They can go to Hell; which is exactly their Final Destination.

Government has always excelled at creating ghettos. They just want to make sure no zip code gets left behind.

This is appalling and disgusting and just plain WRONG.

It’s almost beyond evil what the left will do to force their way on us. Destroying people’s homes and lives deliberately is the epitome of demonic evil.

And God WILL deal with these people some day, and I will not grieve over their fate or sentence.

And I have no doubt it was all deliberate and part of the plan all along as well.

Just like Hawaii.

If the unwashed won’t get out of the way and can’t be bought off, burn them out or just outright kill them.

No they won't because they can't.

They don't have a soul to search.

You're giving them way too much credit for having some, any, humanity.

Using NIFTI-2 that allows municipal bodies to use incremental property tax revenue, that is, property tax revenue above a baseline, to finance transit and low-income housing.

So, get rid of above baseline property to create low income housing, how are they going to keep funding if the above baseline property disappears? Can we short California’s future? Seems to be a no brainer…..
