Playing the oil card until summer vacation is over.
Phil Flynn reports……Reuters reports U.S. oil and natural gas rigs fell for the 11th week straight, hitting 537—the lowest since October 2021 and down 8% year-on-year, per Baker Hughes. Oil rigs dropped to 424, gas rigs held at 108, and Texas’ count hit a low of 255.
When will Trump be questioned about why big oil isn’t investing in his “drill baby drill” campaign promise ?

They probably aren’t because of what Biden did to the industry when Trump left office. Biden gutted the oil industry. Why try again and get destroyed?

The Europeans have been violating sanctions all along.

Why should we bother.

Remember what El Rush-Bo taught us:

Bipartisanship is agreeing with everything the democRATS and DemoKKKrats want.

The Senate bill, co-sponsored by Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), would put 500% tariffs on purchasers of Russian energy — including uranium, gas, and oil

May those who dealt with Hillary! (Uranium One) feel the pain of their choices.

The ONLY purpose of the Sanctions Bill is to make the sanctions TRUMP-PROOF, as the sanctions would then require a second bill to remove them...something that is likely to NEVER PASS.

Trump would be a total idiot to not veto any ‘sanctions’ bill that comes out of Congress...and it sounds like Trump is figuring that out, finally.

Russia is so sanctioned our trade with them is miniscule

War Daddy Lindsay Graham and Chicken Hawk DaNang Dick Durban are trying to cut off US trade with China, India and all of the nearly 20 BRICS countries trading with Russia. Without fertilizer and wheat, major exports, many of these countries will suffer.

This is sure to gain us global friends and win the Ukraine war…not

The thing is, there’s NOTHING in the bill that Trump cannot do himself, by Executive Order...so why go along with it? It’s a TRAP since to end the sanctions, it would require the approval of Lindsey Graham, and it’s sounding like Trump’s people understand it.

If Japan wanted to seize the Dutch East Indies, French IndoChina, and British Malaya, (and they did) it could never leave the American Philippines alone. We were in the process of building up forces on the Philippines when they attacked there as well as Pearl Harbor.

I don’t think the sanctions/embargo played all that big a role in their war plans.

Article behind NY Sun paywall but this says it all

“Trump’s Threat of Secondary Tariffs on Russian Business Partners Sets India Scrambling

Washington is said to be close to reaching a trade deal with New Delhi, but could that change now that Trump is threatening tariffs on countries that conduct business with Russia?”

If Trumps tariff deals with India and other countries tank, the Lindsay-Dick sanctions could cost us more than they’re going to cost Russia or benefit Zelensky

Like the Zeepers, Graham has always HATED Trump and getting his ‘sanctions’ bill through Congress will likely be the end of Trump’s presidency, considering what it will do to the US economy. Luckily, Trump seems to understand that.

Umm, doesn't that include India and China?

Russia has a huge (600+ships) ghost fleet which ships crude and oil products around the world without the interference of sanctions and tariffs.

“WW2 with Japan started because of Sanctions and Embargo’s on Japan…Fools.”

LOL!

Do you have a bot that copies/pastes for your posts?

Strategic Pre-emptive Strike
Japanese leaders believed that war with the United States was inevitable due to escalating tensions and conflicting interests in the Pacific. Japan aimed to deliver a decisive blow to the U.S. Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor to avoid a prolonged conflict and secure early victories. They hoped this surprise attack would cripple American naval power, preventing immediate retaliation and giving Japan time to consolidate its gains in Asia and the Pacific.

Imperial Ambitions and Military Dominance
Japan’s military leaders, particularly those in the Imperial Japanese Navy, believed that a bold and aggressive action would demoralize the United States and force it to negotiate. They underestimated the U.S. resolve to fight back and assumed a quick and overwhelming victory would make the U.S. unwilling or unable to sustain a long-term war in the Pacific.
