Well it isn’t now. His approval among Republicans has stayed the same or risen depending the poll.
This handful of malcontents are insignificant - never really supported Trump, or any Republican, to begin with...and are actually angry with the success that has been had because their only MO is to complain that it isn’t any different when Republicans are in charge vs. Democrats...their ultimate goal is demoralization of the base, no matter how false the narrative is.
