True, it is bloated. But making Trump’s tax rate changes permanent made passage of the bill necessary.

Libertarians should be for one thing, and one thing only - ending the Federal Reserve and replacing it with sound money, that can not be created on a whim from a centralized political entity.

This is at the base of our monetary system, spending, debt and subsequent political system.

In my best Homer Simpson voice: Why should anyone care about what librarians think?

"Libertarian National Committee Chair Steven Nekhaila"

Hey Steve, chill out. Have a few more tokes and a couple of "gummies".

This is the "chairman" of the Losertarian party. He doesn't just look like a creepy fag, but like one of those utterly depraved fags that has multiple sex partners per day. I bet he supports "Palestine" too.

I just love targeted half-truths. Here is a "leader" saying that the Bit Beautiful Bill didn't go far enough. True statement as far as it went. What didn't get said is that the BBB had to live between the guardrails of the Senate rules. The BBB won't be standing as the final word. Rescission bills are coming on the heels to do the actual work of reducing spending that couldn't['t be done under reconciliation rules.

Democrats don't want spending cut, not at all. And they have enough seats in both houses of Congress to block quick cuts from happening.

How is the Libertarian Party any less of a drain on preserving the American Way of Life against the Dems than a Musk party will be? The Dems could win Congress, God forbid, and we’d be finished.

With paper thin election margins (and in Congress) we cannot afford the selfish hobby of Libertarians.

I used to be tolerant——and have re-read all of Robert Ringers’ books.

No longer.

I forgot to mention, Robert Ringer himself is a yuge Trump supporter now with his website full of praise for him.

Libertarians are not about accomplishing anything. They are about being consistent in holding to their abstract ideas.

True, it is bloated. But making Trump’s tax rate changes permanent made passage of the bill necessary.

Lost in all of the arguments against the 1BBB (Elon, are you reading this?) is that tax cuts result in higher GDP, and thus can actually INCREASE tax revenue.

It worked in the 1920's, where Mellon actually came up with the idea, and in the 1980's under Reagan.

Give it some time, and even with the tax cuts and bloat, it just might be revenue-positive.

I asked a waitress today how she felt about the “no tax on tips “ ? She replied that it was only if they are tipped cash. Anything paid via credit card is taxed. And they have to report it. Don’t know if it’s true, but like everything else he promised, the Republicans crapped on it.

This can’t be true, if they receive cash NOW for a tip they don’t report it, that is why I always tip in cash, the government can’t get their grubby little paws on it!! There is NO WAY for the government to know what a service person receives in cash!! There was a cap put on the deduction of $25,000 so if the person receives say 20,000 in cash tips and 25,000 in credit card tips they will pay no taxes!!! However if the service person receives more than 25,000 in recorded tips they will STILL PAY taxes!!! Many servers who work in high end establishments make far more than 25,000 in tips!! The servers in say Vegas make a very nice living in tips alone!!! The senate put a cap on every damn thing that Trump promised, OT, TIPS, AND SS, YET refused to remove illegals from Medicaid!!!
