It is not Washington, DC. It is Arlington, Virginia. Two totally different locales.

Are you saying this article does not state a car exploded in DC?

“Are you saying this article does not state a car exploded in DC?”

That is 9t what I said. I said you misrepresented the article. You said the article said it exploded in D.C. when the article clearly says:

“23rd Street South in Arlington, Virginia”

Oh I get that the original reporting from the News media source was wrong. You do admit this happens all the time right?
What I don’t get is why you blame the FR poster

That is 9t what I said. I said you misrepresented the article. You said the the author of the article should be terminated because he said it exploded in D.C. when he clearly said:

“23rd Street South in Arlington, Virginia”

So did it happen in Washington, DC or in Arlington, VA?

Yes. This is just another example of news media making a reporting error which I doubt they will correct. Wapo etc rarely does.
But it is not the fault of the OP on here

Ok I see what you're doing.

The headline states "explodes" and "Washington DC" (both lies) but in the article they stop lying to you.

So you are fine with someone lying to you, as long as they stop lying to you at some point in the future. Cool. I'm the type of guy who likes consistent truth from the media. You must be the other type of guy.

It happened in Virginia. But if the headline told you the truth, you wouldn’t click on it. So they have to bait you. There are a lot of people on this thread who are totally fine with this type of journalism. Which is sad.

Who has ticked off Hillary lately?

Seriously, hopefully there were no deaths or injuries and it was just a vehicle malfunction of some type. (Note to self: Don’t buy that model vehicle.)

ROTFLMAO! You lied. You impuned the author for saying D.C. when he clearly wrote Virginia, not D.C.

Now you lie and attack me for pointing out your error.

pparently you are not a guy that likes consistent truth.

Arlington VA and D.C. are what? Three miles apart? I guess the city lines can get confusing when reporting.

You have a be a producer for MSNBC. There's just no other explanation. I'm going to ask you a very simple question. I'd appreciate an answer. Here we go:

According to the headline of this article, where did a car explode?

“There are a lot of people on this thread who are totally fine with this type of journalism. Which is sad..”

LOL! Are you referring to me?

If so, let me remind you what you did. You impuned the author for saying it happened in DC when he clearly wrote Virginia.

Apparently you are fine with making false accusations. Which is sad ..

They lie intentionally to get you to click on the article. Nobody cares when a car catches fire in VA. But people really care when a car “explodes” in “DC”!

You referenced the author of the article, not the headline.
