The Iranians are not sincere about a ceasefire. They’re jacking everyone around - just like they done for the last 20 years.

To them (or Hamas, etc), a ceasefire is not a good faith effort to negotiate - but to gain strength and leverage over their opponents.

Trump, IMHO, may have jumped the shark, by boasting of the ceasefire.

However, if there’s some 3D chess being played by Trump, I’d like to hear what it is because right now, it’s not the best look for him to brag up a ceasefire and then have it full to crap.

I believe you are correct, President Trump would like to guide them, however, he does not like the past results of "Regime Change" and will use his influence to prevent Regime Change as the American Left and Deep Swamp want to impose it.

That leaves it to the Persians, themselves, to create the new Government for Iran.
