It won’t, because the right man is in the chair.

They tried under Biden & Obama. Timing was off.

I wouldn't want anyone to go against the remnants of the IRGC unarmed. We need to supply the more favorable elements of the Iranian people weapons of a$$ destruction.

When will the west realize that there can be no peaceful coexistence with Muzzlemen?

They should be vacuumed out of the west and as far away from Christians and Jews as possible.

They have no business being HERE!

The new Iran government will be pro US and the West.

Even if the CIA was to dust off the playbook they used for its 1953 coup d'état, it's not clear we could find a puppet as quickly as your comment would suggest.

Sure: Iran is 5x bigger than Iraq.

The article is well written and to the point, which is why Charlie Kirk baffles me on this; he is normally well-versed on the subjects he tackles. He obviously does the research. But not in this case. Carlson is just being who he really is.

Iran is not an Arab country; the people are Persian.

While it is 95% Shia muslims, there are a significant number of non-practicing muslims, just as Israel has a lot of non-practicing jews. Muslims by association not practice. They see themselves as Persians first. They are educated and cosmopolitan. Iraq, Syria, and Libya are $hitholes, with the majority of the population being Sunni muslims. There seems to be a correlation there.

The current Crown Prince of Iran has promised to return and, within the first 100 days, hold elections for a new government. Should he return, he will be backed by the world community. The theocracy in Iran has murdered and mutilated thousands of it citizens, they won't be missed anymore than the Nazis were missed.

The risks lay not in the regime change, but in the neighbors. Iran lives in a very sketchy neighborhood. The risk could be mitigated with international support and with a military response from Israel, the USA, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and other Gulf Arab nations. Gulf Arabs are not like their Northern kin; they are closer to their co-religious neighbors in Egypt. They want peace. Iran is as much a threat to them as Israel. Israel just saved their asses by destroying missile production in Iran. Iran's goal was 8,000 ballistic missiles and damn near twice as many kamikaze drones. They have 2000, of which a third have been fired at Israel. We now know they have MIRVs; they are using them against Israel. That exponentially increases the number of warheads per missile. They could wipe out Riyadh, Kuwait City, Dubai, and Qatar in a single attack. Kirk, Carlson, and Owens all think this is cool as long as the USA does nothing.

Any new government will end the funding of terror and invest in rebuilding infrastructure. Would they be pro-American, maybe? But if your cities burned while the USA sat on its hands and was in a position to end the conflict militarily, would you see them as friends? If your neighbors let your house burn and did not call the fire department, how would you feel about them? If your neighbor were a construction contractor and he came over the next day, offering his company to rebuild for a fee, what would you think of him? Frankly I would shot his ass! So yes, any new Iranian government will be pro-West, but that does not mean they will be pro-USA.

Israeli citizens are dying while Trump dithers over politics, and hopefully not over his desire for a Nobel Peace Prize. Those MIRVs guarantee many more dead innocent women and children. In Israel, with a population of only 10 million people. The death of a hundred innocent civilians impacts them far more than in a country of 300 million. When this war is analyzed in the future, will Israel see the USA as a friend and Trump as an ally?

“ Rand Paul might be right—we may have to occupy Iran for decades.”

Our Army is much too small to occupy Iran.

Of course I hope & pray the Mullahs are crushed, but this headline has the ring of “famous last words” about it.

Re: "It is not a regime change."

If it is not a Regime change, what will stop the Ayatollahs from creating another nuclear weapon plan?

What is the CIA doing these days?

They used to be pretty good at Regime change.

“Yeah, Libya and Iraq didn’t spark WWIII!”

Neither will Iran. No one will step up to help them.

We need not occupy all of Iran—just the coast to ensure a good flow of oil for the world markets.
