If Texas is for it, who can be against it?
I don’t get it. 😐
Anything is possible, likewise anyone can make a claim without bothering to provide details as to just how the money is getting to them.
I vote #2 here - we need DETAILS, not just ‘claims’.
Em…I think there are details right in the article
Immigration sweeps are in order. I’m sure a crapload of em illegally crossed the nonexistent border during Biden’s term. Plus visa overstays. Get em the hell out, and stop funding the jihad.
Šhahādah شَهادة ("to observe, witness, testify") Recitation of the Shahada is the most common statement of faith for Muslims. In the Sunni sect of Islam it is counted as the 1st of the Five Pillars of Islam. The Shia sect of Islam also has the Shahada among its pillars of faith. In the Sunni sect of Islam, the Shahada has 2 parts: la ilaha illa'llah (“None has the right to be worshipped except God”), and Muhammadun rasul Allah (“Muhammad is the messenger of God”), which are sometimes referred to as the first Shahada and the second Shahada. In the Qur’an, the first statement of the Shahada takes the form la ilaha illa'llah twice (surwa 37:35, 47:19), and allahu la ilaha illa hu (“God, None has the right to be worshipped but He”) much more often. It appears in the shorter form la ilaha illa Hu (“None has the right to be worshipped except He”) in many places. It appears in these forms about 30 times in the Qur’an, and never attached with the other parts of the Shahada in either of the 2 major sects of Islam or "in conjunction with another name". It is whispered by the father into the ear of a newborn child, and it is whispered into the ear of a dying person. The 5 canonical daily prayers each include a recitation of the Shahada. Recitation of the Shahada in front of witnesses is also the first and only formal step in conversion to Islam. This occasion often attracts more than the 2 required witnesses and sometimes includes a party-like celebration to welcome the convert into their new faith. In accordance with the central importance played by the notion of intention in Islamic doctrine, the recitation of the Shahada must reflect understanding of its import and heartfelt sincerity. Intention is what differentiates acts of devotion from mundane acts and a simple reading of the Shahada from invoking it as a ritual activity.
lā ʾilāha ʾillā llāh muḥammadun rasūlu llāh لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا ٱلله مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ ٱلله (Sunni sect of Islam)
“There is no god but God. Muhammad is the messenger of God.”
Do people think Texans are a bunch of guys and gals like John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara strutting around telling these people to get of their land?
They are not. They are the meekest people I know actually
Houston, Austin, San Antonio and El Paso are blue. Blue. Blue.
“Em…I think there are details right in the article”
All I see are CLAIMS. Just who is appropriating the money, who is signing off on it, Governor Abbott, US Congress, Nancy Pelosi, just who?
“Do people think Texans are a bunch of guys and gals like John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara strutting around telling these people to get of their land?”
Correct. As to the cities you mention, they’re not run by Texans anymore, they’re run by Soros.
So, Gov Abbott signed off on the $13 million??
He needs to be asked about it.
Texas Legislature appropriates, Gov Abbott signs off on.
Yes
Wow!
We’ve been worried about the wrong conquest...
Here we’ve thought that the mexicans would probably acquire TX...
Looks like the moslem hordes are way ahead on their conquest...
Paxton is investigating the IC in Plano.
“Texas Legislature appropriates, Gov Abbott signs off on.”
Is it just Texas? I don’t know, since I do not see a SINGLE LINK. But it seems USAID is involved, considering the first two paragraphs of the CLAIM:
“Texas Is Funding Its Own Demise. $13 Million in state and FEDERAL MONEY Handed to Islamic Mosques and Community Groups”
So what is the split, is it 50-50 Federal/State, or 99-1, or what?
The dickhead Republicans that run the Texas House deserve to be outed when they screw over conservatives, but I simply don’t have the information to blame them here.
Right now.
Just like California, Colorado and Minnesota.
Why do governments feel this is a proper use of taxpayer money. WTF, I don’t get it. I was in local government on many levels and would have raised hell over things like this.
