1. Putting limitations like that on the 1st Amendment may have unintended consequences, especially when interpreted by a typical DC judge.
2. Nothing would stop massive overseas websites (eg Daily Mail) that go everywhere.

Given what we have now, itβs worth a few hypothetical worries. .
My hypothetical worries include an ex-pat freeper donating money to FR counting as a political donation and having FR monitored as a political operation. Or, have an entire class of MAGA accused of insurrection in blue states and have their voting/participation rights revoked.
