If this story is true, and that's an IF, it'd be poetic justice in that they'd be next-door to their Egypt homeland (at least some of the Gazans came from Egypt when Egypt controlled it). Gaza already borders Egypt, but Libya has a longer and more porous border with Egypt.

Plus Libya is still embroiled in the Hillary Civil War (remember Benghazi?). So I'm sure both sides would appreciate importing a bunch of violent Gazans.

The Saudis could handle this if they wanted to. Even as they’re loosening many of the rigid social restrictions of the past, they still know how to keep a tight grip on their society when they want to.

Set up a community for Gazan civilians (absolutely no Hamas, just civilians) in a remote part of the country. Rule it with a tight grip. Allow economic opportunities for the people, but allow absolutely no radicalization or indoctrination in the schools or mosques. Over time, if the people there demonstrate they’ve rejected radicalism, allow a greater degree of integration into the rest of the country. Saudi Arabia already has a large foreign born populace, estimated to make up about a third of the population.

Libya is far enough away from Gaza so it’s obvious what Trump’s up to. Egypt’s in-between. It ‘s their problem.
