I have for years, ever since I visited relatives there and while watching the local news realize that every single person in every single newscast was black, from the reporters to the man on the street to the politicians. I suppose it would be in poor taste to mention that slavery was banned in the Northwest Territory, of which Illinois was a part, by the Northwest Ordinance of 1787. The Northwest Ordinance of 1787 was written by the evil ‘slave-owning Founders’ and predates the Constitution itself.

Sounds like they're going to be studying how democrats' policies through many generations kept blacks from being treated equal to whites in America. And that study should include current democrat policies, which continue to treat blacks as lower class and less intelligent and unable to make a living on their own without government handouts.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, are all the things that the democrat party was against since the beginning of the party. Now they want to pretend that they had nothing to do with the current state of blacks.

My nephew in Virginia was offered a huge promotion and large pay raise - the catch was he had to move to Atlanta.

Wife said no and said she would divorce him if he took it.

He passed up the promotion and raise - and we wonder if he’ll ever get another one...He may well have saved their lives, though.
