It’s weird how human garbage/NPR shill joesucks and his ideological twin self-identify on Free Republic with their reflexive hatred of Ashli Babbitt.
They’re so drunk on Gaslight Media propaganda over January 6th that they come on here and can’t help themselves.
It’s a great way to identify Lefty shills here. Put the Ashli question to them.
The one you’re trying to instruct about Ashli Babbitt has been booted off for NeverTrumping more than once.
Not so much a compatriot, as a hunting buddy. 😁
He needs friends to back up him up and he called on you.
I think he did fine, and got all the 'help' he needed from others.
You beetlejuice?
If you call picking up a loved one from a hospital, "taking a dump", I'd hate to be in your family.
Golden nugget to follow.
Fuzz #197: “She [Ashli Babbitt] fa and fo.”
What is it with this human garbage infesting Free Republic that they just love them some dead Ashli Babbitt on Easter Sunday?
This guy is dumber than Kamala.
Several:
Again, if someone was attempting to crawl through a broken window at your home or place of business, what would your response be?
You are conflating two scenarios into one. In the scenario you present, of invasion of a domicile, most jurisdictions would provide great latitude in the application of deadly force against an intruder. There is a presumption that "a man's home is his castle", which is actually written out in several states that implement a Castle Doctrine Law.
Not so with your second scenario. In no reasonable world is it ever stated that "a man's business is his castle." In no state does the Castle Doctrine Law cover non-residential business property. The only reasonable application of lethal force in this situation is that the defender of the property have reason to believe they are personally under threat of serious physical harm (or that a serious felony such as arson is imminent)... and even then, in liberal jurisdiction, a defender of a property can expect investigation and possible indictment.
And what is D.C., but the most liberal of liberal environments?
What does the United States Capitol building most resemble? A business, certainly not a domicile... despite being the location of the House. 😊
So, the second scenario applies, meaning that this 6'1", 250lb man, armed with a pistol, would have to be in fear of serious bodily damage by an awkwardly-positioned, 5'2", 115lb woman. In a liberal jurisdiction such as D.C., any such defense of a non-residential location would certainly be prosecuted by any of the many DA's....if Byrd was a mere citizen.
So, by acting in this manner, and especially since he was a government employee, his prudent action would not be to shoot, but to easily overpower this woman and hold her for arrest.
THIS is how her Constitutional rights were violated.
No bond for people waived into the Capitol and walking between the velvet ropes.
-fJRoberts-
Persons in the UnitedStates have some rights under the U.S.Constitution but not the full and complete set due a U.S. citizen.
Especially not if illegally here !
It's odd that they are choosing Easter Sunday to act out.
Still, Fuzz's statements don't exhibit the disgusting and depraved indifference to human life, that joesbuck's statements did.
My understanding of a previous Supreme Court ruling is that aliens get accommodations, which act like rights but they aren’t rights. That is what I understood the position of the Supreme Court around 1962 took.
Well written Laz.
Thx, I was in no way disagreeing with you, but simply trying to point out to the all too many fools opining here that not ALL U.S.Constitutional rights automatically adhere to anyone and everyone physically present here. even that total dumb@hole Roberts wouldn’t argue that!!
For example as has been mentioned here the Second Amendment (among others) does not give the right to keep and bear Arms to just anyone who illegally enters the country.
Even more fundamentally, the Declarations’ enshrinement of ‘Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness’ is not absolute as these have necessarily been and often are withdrawn under law.
I’m disappointed that Shannon Bream didn’t challenge him.
The Second Amendment would be especially dangerous, if the rights were given to the alien at the same level as the citizen. Good point.
The Second Amendment are what the left are after when they want the Constitution applied to everybody.
Respectfully submitted, there is no civil case that is a slam dunk. Ever.
Hes an idiot jim and there are plenty of idiots out there that agree with this idiot
It looked like a setup, Fuzz.
Can you cite written authority on that one, please?
Hey there GK. I don't have the time to look it up, but I believe 'a strike' is correct. I've read this.
