I have many comorbidities and am on five medications to control them.
I have been on medical insurance all my life and my only complaint was Obamacare that attempted to cast me and my wife to the Devil until we went on Medicare. I have a supplemental PPO policy that is fantastic right now.
The way you word your comments make you seem like an advocate for socialist medicine, death panels and all. That is not very moral.

That’s the US healthcare system! Perhaps you just haven’t run into a non-standard medical issue and the plain vanilla, boilerplate treatments work?
They save/make more money with your death than by treating you. One day you will see this and realize it.
I value and require medical care which is independent of insurer controls, pre-authorizations, boilierplate diagnoses and flow chart solutions.

Walk in to a specialist hospital.
Get procedure which is not controlled or dictated by US healthcare insurers.
How do you think US insurers diagnose a bad diagnosis, like a bad screw set at the C7 pinching a nerve, causing paralysis? They don’t. It’s not in the flowchart. After 2 years I went my own way.

Your solution seems impractical and convoluted; more suited for an elective gender change surgery.
